Unexpected Heroes

Last night I watched a special on Bono from the band U2, mostly about the charity work he does. What a REAL difference he has made. How he talked President Bush. I have always (and especially recently) had this passionate desire to "save the world." And that is exactly what Bono is doing. No publicity stunt, no obsessive child adopting *ahemangelinajolieandbradpittahem* He was completely unpretentious. The way he spoke about his work was really inspirational. Therefore...I definitely have a new hero.

So, where have you guys found heroes in unexpected places?

My mom. I think everyone's heard my story though.

1)Well it was pretty expected but the people that saved my bros life last year. He has azmha (he is #10 in oklahoma)and we took him to national jewish hospital for treatment (it is a lot like st. jude just with a differnent name) and they found out that he would have died in a year if we wouldn't have taken him there to help him.
2)Another hero is myself. I teach at the little light house how to cheer and stuff. Most of the kids with down-syndrome. So i find it really nice and i make their day.
3)and my family. Who have told me many, many times just to speak loud so the whole world hears you b/c you might, just might help someone who is in need of help.
