I ordered 3 tickets from Undercover Tourist (UC) as I have heard many good things about them here. Their price was certainly lower than other places I had looked to (AAA, WDW etc.) I got 10-day hoppers, with the water parks, no expiration so we can use them for our coming trip and the one after that (whenever that is).

My question is I got the tickets today and they seem to be the right tickets but they are paper tickets (with the magnetic strip). This is probably perfectly normal but my tickets have always been plastic cards (more like credit cards). I hadn't seen paper tickets in years. Before I give the tickets to the others in my group I just want to confirm that these should indeed be the paper tickets. I was expecting the plastic cards . . . :scratchin

We purchased from undercover tourist in 2007 and our tickets were also paper with the magnetic strip. They had pictures of the Incredibles on them. they worked just fine.

Undercover Tourist has a lot of fans out there, and are endorsed by Mary at Mousesavers too. I've never heard a bad report. Relax, the tickets should be just fine - have a great time!

Those are the tickets you would actually get if you walked up to a ticket booth at a park. If you stayed at a resort and bought a package deal your park tickets would be on your KTTW resort card which is plastic like a credit card.

I am under the impression that those paper tickets can be added to your resort room key too. So you will not have to carry them.

yeah, what scares me is there durability. You would think non-expiring tickets would be plastic! I mean you're paying 50 bucks for that option, would a plastic card kill them? I'm afraid of them getting wet or wrinkled

They're not paper they're Tyvek!!! Tyvek is much more durable than hard plastic, it's almost indestructible. You can try to bend them, and you can submerge them in water, they will be fine (ok I wouldn't suggest doing this just to prove me wrong though!) It also goes through the park entrance turnstiles much more easily than a hard plastic ticket. It's rare to get a hard plastic ticket anywhere for WDW anymore - I haven't seen them in years - other than to have your Tyvek tickets put onto your room key (if staying onsite) as someone else mentioned.

They are the same tickets we received for our Nov. trip. We stayed at Pop Century and had them put our tickets on our KTTW cards. We had no problems with our cards but did carry the paper ones for a few days just in case. There was another thread very recently that explained what the tickets are made of. I can't remember the material though. The material is supposed to be pretty tear resistant/proof. If you call UT they will be able to explain better.

My annual pass is of the same material. I haven't had any issues with the durability so far.
