Uncharted Adventures on Wish

Has there been any update as to when this is expected to be up and running? This is was a big advertising piece about the ship and now it’s not mentioned at all. I sail in 2 weeks and it’s one of the things I had really wanted to see/do.

I’m not aware of the advertisements. Can you give me a little bit more detail about the advertisement I’m not sure if you’re talking about New port stops or different things to do on the ship?

We are onboard and zero mention of it.. when asking it’s ‘delayed’ no time frame given

Oh my let does look like fun! OK first I’m gonna go with what happened that it’s not there now and why we’re not seeing the advertisements. We’re not seeing the advertisements because it’s going to be delayed further (that’s my guess)

Customs related
Darn thing just didn’t work!
I don’t anticipate making it on the ship this year or next, so by the time I get there it should be up and running. And if they stop showing that commercial, I’m quite sure it’s going to be a while before that is running. That’s pretty sad, but thankfully you don’t miss what you don’t know is available. I’m betting the negative reviews would be a whole lot better if they had these items operational. Seems like it might’ve taken the wow factor away from the Wish.

I’ve been on the Magic, the Wonder, and this year the Fantasy. Least favorite ship is now the Fantasy, it sits at slot number seven in my hierarchy. And until this commercial I didn’t care about the Wish! Now I want to go!

I will bet they are scrambling in the marketing department to ramp up the special magic offered on the Wish. Sounds like they’re having a tough time with that first impression. I did enjoy midship detective on the Fantasy. This sounded like you could have more people and experience was larger than just a picture frame.

I asked about it on the Maiden Voyage…they responded they were having technical difficulties…this really would of given the Wish something unique and special…but instead it felt like things were missing and there were…

It just feels like they dropped it altogether and are keeping hush about it hoping people forget they ever mentioned having it . I’m glad to know it’s not there before getting on the ship and being disappointed.

I’m listening to a backlogged podcast from after the media trip and they are gushing about doing beta testing for it and how they want to book a future trip just to play

I was reading about D23, and it was mentioned they will have an a utility similar to Uncharted Adventure. Hopefully this means Uncharted will be running by September

August 15 is my sailing too! I would be thrilled if it was ready but there’s been no word.

If this is all built off the Disney Parks Play app I'm especially confused as to what the hold up is. We did notice a lot of digital picture frames were missing from hallways so my working theory is they literally did not have all the pieces needed for the maiden voyage. There were also a lot of empty holes in walls too where it was pretty obvious pieces were missing.

I had a bad feeling when I saw that this activity was based on using your cell phone. Everything techy Disney uses is subject to significant glitches. Even if they do get it up and running, there will probably be issues with its implementation, buffering, certain features not working, etc.

I asked shoreside concierge about it yesterday and they told me it was up and running - start times and locations would be on the Navigator app. They mentioned that it may *not* have been ready for the maiden voyage, which could explain why the lack of reporting on it.

I would be interested to hear if anyone currently or recently on board has been able to play. Also interested to see if it's on current Navigators - I've seen app screenshots from the maiden voyage, but not more recent.

Just got off Wish this morning and it was not up yet. We did hear that they had someone on board working on getting it going.
