Okay this may sound wierd....

This year when I go to Disney I am going with mom. It doesn't fall on a birthday or something like that. It actually falls on the 4th aniversary of a job I took away from my family (I was only supposed to go for 3 years but I love it and can't leave). That said the only holiday I celebrate with my family is Christmas. I am wondering if I order a "unbirthday cake" to my room like others do for birthdays if they will question it. To me this is like celebrating birthdays, mothers day, easter etc...all combined. May sound strange for a 30 something adult to need this but Mom always planted surprises on our birthdays and I think an unbirthday would be a way to surprise her and celebrate the years worth of holidays. Or if someone has a better idea...I am open...

I dont think they would question it at all! If you are paying for it you can have it!! You could always suprise her with a gift basket or flowers from one of the ladies/companies that do them. I always use disney florist! www.disneyflorist.com or www.giftsofalifetime.com works too! There are a few others as well! But cakes are fun... it depends on where you are staying though! It is fun to surprise someone when they least expect it... and when better... on a day that isnt really a holiday or birthday... that is fun!

Not a problem at all. People go to Disney World for so many reasons.

Actually, this is an idea. Since you want to celebrate all the holidays that you have missed, why not do a collage of images from those holidays? Pack that in your suitcase and then hang it on the wall or in your window at the resort?

It's not really an Unbirthday. It's more of an All Holiday Celebration. Heck, take noisemakers for New Year's Eve.

Isn't there an actual "unbirthday" celebration they have at a character meal w/ Alice characters? I thought I remembered reading that somewhere....GF maybe?

I think it sounds like a great idea, go for it. When I went last December, I decided to order a cake for my birthday. My Birthaday wasn't until later in the month. Plus I just felt I deserved it, Disney is my time to get away from everything. It ended up, my sister ordered me a cake. Because of where I was staying, I had to have it at one of their resteruants. I celebrated it at Trails End Buffet, and it was so special. They sang Happy Birthday to me, and gave me a certicate with everyones signature. I didn't even have to pay for my dinner. It was a night I will always remember, plus before dinner I saw some of Wishes fireworks.
