Ok whole country, whatever. Give me a cite.......person A simply afraid of skin color of person B. A shoots B.
I already mentioned one. It was a black boy went to the door of an Asian family. They were afraid of blacks and opened the door and shot him. I want to say it was Halloween or something. There was another one where the boy (not sure of the race) was just running across the yard and was shot because there had been some break ins in the area by people of the same race as he (this one may have been asian or hispanic)
I do not have the time or the interest to google and cite every website that may report these things. In fact I am out of this discussion. I detest racism no matter what the race is of the person spouting the hate.
By all means carry on. Get up in the air about how the city of Akron is racist and won't do anything and everyone needs to be armed.
I do agree that hate crime is hate crime regardless of the race of the victim or the attacker. Hate crime is a horrible thing. But I also agree that maybe it would be easier to do away with the term and just have the regular charges available in these situations. That would end all the "are they going to call it a hate crime" rantings.
