Unable to cancel reservation

I have a reservation with a check in date of tomorrow June 21st.

I was unsure if I wanted to go or not so I kept it - I know the points would go into holding if I cancelled. However the reservation already used holding points so it would be a wash.

I now try to cancel the reservation but the cancel button is gone. Website says to call member services. As its past 9pm member services is closed.

I should be able to cancel up until check in day - that's tomorrow.

I've written an email through the member website trying to explain that I can't cancel myself.

Is there anything else I can to do avoid losing my points completely?

I think you waited too long, but I hope someone else has an idea. Can you “change” the reservation to just 1 night so you won’t lose as many holding points?

The reservation is only 1 night but it’s still points I would hate to lose.

Don’t think I waited too long. As per the cancellation rules I should be able to cancel. But if the button is gone is difficult without member services.
 
I guess it depends on the timing of "1 day from check in." That's the only wording I can find, not an actual time of day. Technically they could have had the cutoff as of 4:00 PM today since check in starts at 4:00 PM tomorrow

but the DVC website still says that on checkin day you lose your points - since I tried to cancel before checkin day I should be good - but lets see what member services says when I contact them.

I think the website prevents cancel online the day before after MS is closed…

Hopefully they will allow it without loss of points.

But, it should be clearer so people know.
