Unable to book AKV Kidani due to computer system???

I just called to try and book June 13th for a 1 bedroom savannah at Kidanai Village as I already have the 14th to the 20th.
I was told that they got a notice this morning that the booking system for the AKV Kidani village is shut down?? Maybe not those exact words but wow I was kind of disappointed. I have the Allstar Music family suite booked because I was not sure of our arrival date and wanted to see if they had a 1 bedroom available now that I know we will be leaving on that Saturday.
However I really feel bad for the people that are trying to book for thier December into January trips.
Did anyone else get this information from MS?

Yikes I did not even think of that. All the reports so far seem to indicate that construction was going along as planned but you never know.
I too would be very dissapointed since I am taking my grand-daughter for her first trip ever to WDW (of course she will only be 14 months old) but I really wanted to "show off" my DVC home to my son and his wife.
I'll try again tomorrow.

Just got off the phone from MS and they said that they are 'up-dating the Kidani inventory'.....................sounds like more rooms to me which is good news as I am on the waitlist!!! ha! ha!

I was told there were "technical difficulties" and to call back tomorrow also. I wanted to cancel June and book something in May instead d/t all these snow days my kids won't be out of school until June 23 - uggghhh!

The power of positive thinking, If they have declared the 5th floor it would show that AKV is selling much faster than BLT since there was a declaration for AKV in December and I believe the last BLT was in Oct or Nov and if memory serves me smaller than the AKV declaration.

Yes, this is good. I "need" one more Savannah view studio in Kidanin for 1 night...have standard view and we're on a waitlist.

Snap, although we need 2 nights in a savannah studio. I have 4 nights in total booked, 2 of those standard view and 2 savannah. We are waitlisted for the first 2 nights.

I'm right there with you! We have a 2br Savannah view for Jun 1-6 but are waitlisted for the 6 -11. We do have a 2br booked at VWL for those dates but I was really hoping to do all the time at AKV this time!

I'll be so happy if see that waitlist finally come thru!

but I have a 2bd lock out and i"m on the waitlist for a 2bd savannah. I was told that our trip dates from June 7 - 12 were totally sold out so I don't anticipate much movement unless people cancel.

I'm not too hopeful since that is opening weekend.....
