Un-Tangled-Getting My Life Back....PTR!! TR Started! 5/30

I am now officially hungry. I need to stop reading ADR related postings right before I head to lunch.

Hello Dis'ers!! It's been a while, I have missed you!! :)

With Turkey day around the corner and Fall in the air I'm so looking forward to the holidays!!
turkey-1.gif

I'm also anxiously awaiting to see if I make my short term weight goal too! Just a couple more pounds to go!! ::yes::

I hope y'all don't think I've been avoiding you for avoidance sake when it comes to reporting my weekly weight results. I have been avoiding reporting but not for the reasons you think....I've discovered something about myself during this last short term goal (you make a lot of discoveries about one's self when losing a lot of weight ::yes:: ).
My discovery was...even though I'm not technically making my weekly goals, (though I'm still making progress)....I feel like I have to admit to some sort of defeat to report it. :worried: I thought reporting it would help keep me accountable, it's not, it's making me feel as though I'm down grading all the hard work I've been doing by reporting I didn't make the goal. I would actually become scared or dreaded stepping on the scale when all along I looked forward to that part of my day. 1)to see what feats I made or 2) what I needed to do new or better that day to try and make the scale move down for the next day. :goodvibes
I know that sounds silly but I know myself well enough to know I won't stay on a positive note going into a new week if I feel like I'm constantly letting myself and others down. Instead, I've choosen to see the progress I do make as me still moving foward and concentrating on that, rather than being focused on the fact "I didn't make the weekly goal."
Mind frame my friends, it's all about the mind frame with me when it comes to this weight thing. If I can keep myself seeing things through positive lenses then I stay on the positive track, which as many of you may know....positive is the only way one can stay in this game and have a victorious outcome! It's worked so far, so I'm sticking with it!

So from now on I'll still report my new achievements, but only by way of my siggie or on FB. :goodvibes

On to better things!! Park plans! :)

As you probably know, we're getting down the last two days of our trip plans. I'm sure I'll be making some changes here and there and I'll be happy to report them here, but as for now I have my Day 9 plans to share...

Day 9~

As of today, I'm not rightly sure which park we'll be going to. :rotfl: Since I don't have the extra day I had hoped for I have to decide if I want to make this another DHS day or AK day?

At this point I think it best to play it by ear, once we're there and not knowing all of what we'll get done in either park on previous days it's really hard to decide at this point which way we'll lean.

If it's hot out then I may not want to go to the hottest park on property. :crazy2:
If we didn't get as much done in DHS as we'd like, then we may go back there again. :confused3 It's hard to say with all the changes coming to DHS, a lot of what we usually do will be gone by the time we get there. Little Mermaid show will likely be gone, as well as Beauty and the Beast show, I'm hoping the new Tangled show will be in place by the time we go, but I have a feeling it may not. Backlot tour won't be there, as well as LMA. At least that's the word on the street. :rolleyes1
OR! We could end up doing both parks! We may do what we missed on the last park day and then hop on over to the next park and do what we missed there too.
Either way we'll have a great time and we'll make the most of which ever park/s we'll be in. :goodvibes

One thing I do know for sure that is we'll be eating at BOMA for dinner again that evening. :lovestruc
You can't go wrong when this will be our beautiful ending to the day.

Sorry this wasn't more colorful and more interesting to read, but I didn't really have a lot to share on plans this time. I think my mind is on about 40 million different things that need to get done this week before company gets here. You'll just have to forgive me. :goodvibes

In the mean time....

Have a wonderfully blessed Thanksgiving, there is much to be thankful for. Y'all are one of the many things I'm thankful for. I am truly thankful for my Dis brothers and sisters. :lovestruc

 Back at ya, babe!

How have you been Michele? How is hubby doing?

I have had a bit of a virus but I am getting better. He has no energy, he tried to go on a long bike ride today and he just couldn't do it. I am concerned about him. Thank you for asking.

So fall is in the air in Texas? I bet the weather there is very nice compared to Winter in the air up here.

I think by Day 9 you certainly can have some flexibility and a "go with the flow" attitude. You deserve it. I know I don't let to have every hour/day of my trip planned. Spontaneous things are fun!

I'm happy to hear you are feeling better, did you end up going on your trip or did you cancel it? I'm so so sorry to hear about your hubby, I'm still praying for him. Let me know if there is anything else I can do.

Well it had been. The evenings were getting into the 40's and some into the 30's, but the days have been beautiful, in the 50's and 60's, chilly for us that's for sure. This week won't feel much like Fall, 70's all week. Poor us. ;) I actually like it when it's cooler during the Fall and winter, I was hoping for a bit more seasonal weather, but I won't complain either way. :)

I think by Day 9 you certainly can have some flexibility and a "go with the flow" attitude. You deserve it. I know I don't let to have every hour/day of my trip planned. Spontaneous things are fun!

That's kinda what I was thinking! We may even sleep in that day, who knows! :)

"Go with the flow" days are sometimes some of the VERY best! We've done a few of these and they always end up full of little bits of magic - unexpected moments and are very relaxing. And by Day 9, it will be a perfect time to fit one in.

Booooooooomaaaaaaaaaaaa! :thumbsup2

Happy Thanksgiving my friend! Love you!

dont be dissapointed you dont make a certain number each week, as long as you are lossing and keeping on your path think of it as a good week.:thumbsup2
a pound is a pound.

Thank you, I feel better for sure. We ended up cancelling our wooden front door split down the side and I had to replace it. Apparently when they built our house they must of got great deals on doors because nothing is standard size. I had to have a door custom made, that does not come cheap. I then had to hire someone to install said door and door frame. It was over $1000, that came out of the trip money. So the trip waits. Thank you so much, your prayers are wonderful. Just letting me share helps a lot and that is an amazing help. Thank you.

Interestingly enough my son got to go anyway because our friends still went. He sent me pictures on his cell phone every day. That helped heal the sting of losing the trip. He is coming home today and there is a "surprise" for me. From a 16 year old who knows what that means.:rotfl:

Funny....I usually feel the Studios are worse on hot days than the AK.:confused3

I think it a good idea to play it by ear.

Happy Thanksgiving.

Happy Thanksgiving my friend; hope you have a very blessed dwith your family

You are so right. :goodvibes When ever I just let go and let John decide what we'll do next, it's been a lot of fun! I'll let Mackie make the choices and see where it takes us. :goodvibes

Thank you! It looks like y'all had a wonderful day. My love to you too, kiss that little redhead for me!

Planning the unplanned is a fantastic plan!

You are right, it's still a good week if I'm working toward my goal, at least that's what I'm going with. I may not have made my Thanksgiving goal (I was off by lb. and half. :worried:) but I worked really hard and at least made it as far as I did. :) I even worked out today after being on my feet for six hours straight, cooking. Probably one of the best workouts I've had in a while. I managed to stay on the elliptical the entire hour! Usually I have to split up the workout between it and the bike because I usually tire out and hurt to stay on the elliptical.
Thank you for your support Dan, yours and everyone else's means the world to me. I hope your Thanksgiving was amazing. ::yes:: Love the rub you and Candi gave us!! :)

Ooooh no, I'm so sorry.

You are more than welcome. You can vent here any time, I'm just glad you feel you can share here.

Well that's good! I'm sure you're trip will be back on very soon. :thumbsup2 Can't wait to hear what he brings you as a surprise.

Now that you mention it, we've had some pretty sweltering days there as well. I think you just don't notice as much because there are so many buildings to get inside and be in for a while. Not as much at AK. :worried:

I think it a good idea to play it by ear.

::yes::

Happy Thanksgiving.

Thank you sweet lady. :lovestruc

Oh we did. Thank you kindly Ms. Kat. I hope you didn't miss your kids too much on Thanksgiving day. What did you end up doing?

Happy Thanksgiving Camille to you and the whole family.

REALLY?!? This is such exciting news!!! :dance3: :yay: :dance3: :yay:  We'll have to go over ADR's together and see if Mackie and I have any planned that you would want to join in on!! :goodvibes I guess you can look at what I have already posted and then let me know what you think, if you need to change some we can probably still do that. We're still a ways out so I don't think it will be a problem. :goodvibes

And a very Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours as well!! I'm a little late, but I wanted you to know I was still thinking of you. :goodvibes
