Un-Tangled-Getting My Life Back....PTR!! TR Started! 5/30

Got all our ADR's!!! :yay:

Thank you Brook-my amazing TA!!! :flower3:

We almost didn't get the Tea, but when I got up and saw in my e-mail Brook wasn't able to get the Tea for G.F right away. I called in, got an amazing CM who spent a lot of time figuring it out aaaaaaand we got it!!

Cast members who go above and beyond are so amazing, I was beyond happy to give her a great report. :thumbsup2

Not only did we get all our ADR's we got them all for the times we wanted, or even better! :O) Thank you Lord and thank you again Brook! :goodvibes

I couldn't have been more thrilled to finally have this done and off my mind. So, now all we have to do is pay for the trip, get the plane officially booked, and we are all set!! :woohoo:

And guess what?!?

We are under 6 months!! :dance3: :yay: :dance3: :yay: WOOOOOOO to the HOOOOOOO!

Hello my friend! Just checking in while I have a few minutes with the internet. I am semi-caught up ;) I see that you were at 66 lbs!!!!!!! I am so proud of you! You are probably even further by now!

Yay for getting your ADRs! Yay for booking your flights! and a BIG Yay for an extra day at AK!:yay::yay: That is my favorite park, but we seem to not spend enough time there - partly because it gets so hot and we wimp out - something tells me we won't be so wimpy with the heat next time :rotfl2:

Everything is starting to come together and be more real for your trip! I'm excited that Mackie still wants to do the princess breakfast.

I will try to check in again soon - hope to have our own place soon, and get my very own internet so I can get back to being on the DIS and making our plans! Love ya!

Tammie!! :lovestruc So glad to see on here! I know how crazy things have been for you so I appreciate you taking the time to come on over! We actually won't have the extra day in AK, the flights are just too pricey to fly on a Sunday (unless something changes). But everything else is still happening! :)

did yo ualready share what those ADR's were? i forget.

popcorn::

I've actually been sharing them as I go along with my park day, planning. I haven't put them all together in any one place. I suppose I could do that. :)

I feel stupid. What is the ditch?

No, no. No feeling stupid.  The ditch is....La Cava del Tequila, the tequila bar in Epcot's Mexico.
I've been wanting to try one of their margs for a while now, never got in there last trip, I won't be missing it this time. I loooove a good marg., I don't drink very often but a good marg can't be beat when it's hot out. :lovestruc People on the Dis call it The Ditch because once you are in there it's hard to get yourself out.

Yaaaayyyy!!! ADR'S!!

I'm not gonna lie, that's one of my favorite parts of planning a trip. It feels more real when the reservations are made.

I was a bit surprised about Mackie wanting to eat at Ohana's twice in one trip, she must really like it there (I had no clue) because she wanted that to be our last nights dinner. Good to go out with a bang, I suppose.

BOMA's is fantastic (one of them is breakfast), they give me a lot of healthy options. I have to balance the good and bad food choices if I'm going to keep the weight off on this trip! They have a lot of health food choices, lots of out of this world soups, salads, carved meats and many other wonderful choices, not to mention....if you want to be bad and have some dessert, the desserts come in two bite (for my hubby-one bite ;) ) sizes. That way, you get to try lots of them without filling up on just one. Trust me, the desserts are amazing enough you'll want to try more than one, especially the zebra domes. :lovestruc

Your ADRs look great. I love that you are eating at Boma for breakfast and dinner. We did a Boma breakfast in June and it was so yummy. Then we went back to Sanaa for dinner. It was an AK day all around.

I get to make ADRs so for our June trip. Going to be weird since we are staying off site. I guess I have to go day by day. Fun!

Thank you! I like them. :goodvibes They are a good mix of what Mackenzie and I both love and new. I'm especially looking forward to BOMA for the healthy for me aspect, not easy to do at WDW unless you make it happen. ::yes::
That would be a strange way to do ADRs's, but you do what you have to do, right? :upsidedow
What has y'all staying off site this time, if you don't mind me asking? :)

Camille, your ADR's sound marvelous. We've done a lot of them and the ones we've done that you are doing, we loved them all except one (50's Prime Time). I really want to try Ohanas for dinner one of these trips.

Thank you Ms. Kat. I'm looking forward to all the new one's and all the one's we love to go back to.
The 50's Prime Time one.....well, that one I'm not looking forward to except to make Mary happy. If she's thrilled and happy with the ADR then it will make it all worth it, I don't want her to feel slighted in any way on ADR choices. On the other hand, the food just doesn't appeal to me, not to mention a lack of healthy choices for me to pick from, I'm thinking Mackie can order something as a snack and I'll just horse around with the wait staff and give them as hard a time as they will us. Mary wanted to go back to the room, (she didn't want to do a full day in the park) so later on Mackie and I will just head to KONA for dinner. :lovestruc

You really do have to try 'Ohana. I think once you and Mark try it you'll be kicking yourselves for not trying it before. It's truly a high protein dieters dream (which I am). LOL! We have (you probably do too) a restaurant here called Fogo de chao, a brazillian steak house that has the most amazing salad bar (unlike anything you've ever had in your life) and they also bring you non stop meat, just like 'Ohana's.
I think I actually like 'Ohana better, they have all the other yummy's, the potstickers, which are out of this world!! They alone would be worth going to 'Ohana's for, that the bread and the bread pudding. I'm not normally a big fan of bread pudding, but this is seriously A M A Z I N G!!
Maybe you could score this place for this up and coming trip? It's really a fun place to be with friends, and since Nikki is on a high protein diet she would probably like this place.

If I'm not mistaken, Nicki is not a fan of Ohana at all. :confused3 In any event, our ADR's are booked and in gold (well, unless Todd decides he is "not feeling it" and tries to walk up somewhere and get us in). I'm thinking I may try to get Ohana for our August trip.

i think we will try boma on a trip in the future when the kids are bigger and have little larger range of likes...looking forward to your pics from all of them.:thumbsup2

Oh bummer. Knowing Todd you'll have a few walk ups and win big when he does! He has the midas touch, that guy. ::yes::

Might be a good idea, although they have a great amount of food (normal foods-if you will) that everyone can enjoy, the kids buffet section is pretty darn good too. ::yes:: Mackenzie who was about the pickest eater, when she was younger, really liked it there. She was 7 back then. Something for y'all to look forward to. :)

YAY for ADR's and the tea. You will love the tea, so much fun!

Thank you Cynthia. :goodvibes Can't wait to try the tea. :lovestruc

Then we went back to Sanaa for dinner. It was an AK day all around.

Sanaa, that's one I've not done either. I thought about it this trip along with Jiko, but Mackenzie didn't care much for the menu's and said she'd rather try some other places we hadn't been to yet, of course along with the places we really love. :goodvibes

I think I'll have to save the 2 TS places for an adult trip only. :thumbsup2
