They can hold seats and price but you haven't actually booked yet? Do explain pretty please!

Well, this wonderful CS rep said I can't use my voucher/credit unless I make the flight fit within a six month period of time from when it's issued to me. The flight has to be not only booked but actually used before the six months runs out.
This means I have to book the trip in the middle of Nov. so the voucher will be vailid for my trip dates. Hope I'm making sense....

In order to get the same prices (that are current or were a couple of days ago) he had to hold the seats for us. So basically he held the prices where they were on Monday so when we are able to book the flight (later in Nov. when my voucher is scheduled to be sent to me)the voucher/credit will work for our dates and the prices will not have changed on us. :)

Wasn't that really nice of him?!? You could have knocked me off my chair when he said he was going to do this for us. :faint:

Been praying for all my east coast friends. ::yes::

Please let us know you're all okay as soon as you can.

I'm so glad to hear everyone was okay. Everyone else I know out that way are all on FB and they all said they were good and almost no damage. Praise God! :goodvibes

I am trying to stay semi caught up. I wanted to say

Thank you!! :thumbsup2

How was your trip?!? Did y'all have a great time?

Getting close to ADR time!! :goodvibes

I'll let you know what I end up getting. pixiedust:

I'll come and to a PTR update some time before the weekend is out. :upsidedow

:hyper::hyper::hyper::hyper: are you like that for ADR day? That's how I usually get.

I'm sure whatever you pick will be fabulous.

Ms. Kat, I'm as giddy as a little girl on Christmas eve, I think I like the planning almost as much as the trip it's self.
The plane reservations, room reservations, ADR's, I love it all and get so excited!! :cloud9:

Howdy Disers!! :wave2:

It's been a while since I last updated our park days. I've been hesitant to post new updates because some things were starting to change around a bit and I wanted to be sure we were still on course.

We are.

So we're on day 8, last we left off with us celebrating a down day and Mother's Day. Hopefully we'll be well rested and "raaaarin to go." <movie quote-I put them in every so often-no one has caught on-LOL>

So, day 8, sixth park day!!

This is our second EPCOT day!!

My fountain. :lovestruc

I love EPCOT, it's such a massive park and soo much to do. I'm not a big lover of WS, yet, but I think it's due to not having seen all it has to offer (I probably already told y'all this). EPCOT has lots of yummy things to try, lot's of shopping, and lot's to see. Not to mention the education aspect of it, which I nerdly admit, I like. :upsidedow

This morning has an ADR in store for us, Mackie's and one of my favorites! :goodvibes

Know where and what it is?

Akershus! In Norway.

The princess interaction was stellar the last time we went, and I really like the food choices, lots of healthy things to pick from aside from what they bring to the table (which happens to be pretty yummy). Major bounus for me!! :cheer2: I plan on eating more than my share of yummy things on this trip (a.k.a-known in Millie's world as bad for me), but I also want lots of healthy foods as options too. Gotta find a way to off balance the bad choices. Probably why I'm excited to eat at BOMA three times in one trip. ::yes:: More on that later.

We'll probably hit the park early for rope drop and then hit the Land pav. to ride Soarin right away, get FP to come back to later and then we'll venture around the Sea pavillion as we usually do. Hopefully we'll take in..

:rotfl: My husband is such a goof. As you can see, Mackenzie doesn't even flinch when he acts this way.

I won't be so embarrassed to have my picture taken from inside Bruce this time. I plan on lots of pictures taken of me this time. I realized last trip I've allowed my weight to dictate how many pictures my kids will or won't have of me in the later years. How sad is that?!?

Next, we'll head over to ride the new Test Track again. :car: TT is one of my favorite rides, I love the fast part. I usually scream like a little girl. Well, more like a scream and laugh at the same time. :rotfl: I'm sure I thoroughly embarrass my family when they ride fast rides with me. :thumbsup2 I don't care because there are very few times/places in my life where I can cut lose like that and not be embarrassed to do so.

Once were done with all of this I'm sure it will be our ADR time.
It's nice to be in the WS when it's closed, it's soooo peaceful. It's also nice to be in WS when you're done eating. You come out ready to explore, and get your shop on!

I wish I knew if Ms. Pat (poolrat) will be with us or not. I still don't know when she is able to make her DVC room reservations so I can't say for sure when she'll be there. Hopefully she'll be with us this day, I think touring WS with Pat would be a blast, it's fun to see different parks through others eyes. Plus, she knows where all the yummy drinks are. ::yes:: :rotfl:

Speaking of yummy drinks, I would love to hit "The Ditch" this trip, but I'm not sure it will happen. I think it would be weird to take my daughter in there to get a drink. Maybe there will be a moment I can steal to go in there and get a drink to go? Not sure if they do drinks to go in there. :confused3
Been dying to try a couple of their margs., the avacado one looks super yummy and I think there is a blueberry one as well, and of course the jalapeno marg., hmmm decisions, decisions. I would looooove to try a flight, but I need my hubby there with me to do that (not all tequila's are made equal you know) sans child of course.
I know Cynthia has a favorite marg. from there, what are your suggestions, good lady? I'd love to hear everyone's favs.

I'm sure we'll have a great time walking around, hopefully I'll find some good shopping and then we'll be ready to sit and eat a wonderful dinner. Mackie and I looked over the places there in WS and decided we should have Italiano this time. We've neither tried any of the Italian choices so I had her look over the Allears menus and decide which place sounded better to her, like I've said, I've never been to either so I'm game for which ever one she chooses.

Her choice...

Via Napoli!! I think she made a good choice, I think this place will be more fun for her and more to her liking. She is part Italian so I'm sure she would have loved or could have had an appreciation for either place, but this menu seemed to strike her fancy more. Since we'll be on the dining plan I think this will make a good use of a dining credit. :thumbsup2

Has anyone eatin here? What did you think and what are your must haves?

Well folks, I think this is all there is. I'm sorry I didn't get this to you all earlier, but at least I was able to stick to my promise and got this out before the weekend is over. :goodvibes

Hubby has hit the hay so I finally have the t.v. to myself. Once Upon a Time on the DVR is calling and I'm excited to see what fairytale adventure they take on us tonight!

Whoo hoo I am closer- I got the weekend rotation schedule at work and I am NOT working Mother 's Day weekend and have a mega meet the weekend before so I get extra time off for that.

Once I nail down work a bit more I can proceed. :cool1:

Great Epcot plans. I know a lot of people don't agree, but I liked spaceship earth when it had that hand thing on it. Call it nostalgia because it was there the first time I visited.

Yes - you can get a "to go" rita from the Ditch, but you can also bring kids in there to sit at one of the tables. Pat and I sat right next to a family with kids when we stopped in in October.

You will love hanging out with Pat. She is a blast. Great personality and very laid back.

Your plans for Day 8 sound great. Haven't tried Via Napoli (me and pizza/red sauce do NOT agree this last year or so) and we weren't fond of Askerhaus...but glad you enjoyed it.

You really need to spend more time in World Showcase...I really think you will like it. And they've added several photopass photographers there so be sure to find them.

Finally caught up! (and taking notes directly into your planner! :goodvibes)

Your plans sound wonderful! You guys are gonna be POOPED after so many full days in the parks, but it will be wonderful too!!

Yes, The Ditch has to go cups! Have Mackie shop nearby why you order-up! :thumbsup2 But really, I bet no one would even flinch if she walked in there with you. If you hung out for hours on end and slammed 'em back...then you might get a few stares. ;)

Yeaaaaaah! I feel like it's all coming together for you to be there!! :yay: :dance3: :yay: :dance3: :yay:

Same here! I liked it! I thought it was cute. Oh well, potato-patahto. :goodvibes

I very much like hanging out with Pat, and you're right she is a blast to hang out with. She and I had a meet a few years back in San Antonio, I drove from Austin to meet up with her there. She had a convention she was attending and I drove out to meet with her, she was my very first Dis meet! Good to know about the to go cups. :thumbsup2

Ooooh that's sad about the pizza. I so love pizza, anything Italian, really. :cloud9: Of which I'm not getting a lot of these days since I'm watching all the simple carbs. Even whole wheat pasta is a no-no if you want to watch your weight. I have to save my pasta nights for my plateau breakers, so they only happen every month or two, or when I can't take not having a carb load. Sometimes I just need to have a night where I cut loose and eat carbs until I get my fill, and then I can go several weeks or even months before wanting it again. Funny things is I usually end up dropping weight when I do it, so it's a win, win! Now you know why I save big carbs for plateau breaks!

You really need to spend more time in World Showcase...I really think you will like it. And they've added several photopass photographers there so be sure to find them.

I knooooow, it's due to all your talk about your time in the WS that makes me realize I need more time there. :goodvibes

Awww, you're so sweet. You've been a great asset to this trip, I can't thank you enough!

Your plans sound wonderful! You guys are gonna be POOPED after so many full days in the parks, but it will be wonderful too!!

I know, but we are troopers, we really want this to be a great trip. If we have a day where we can't take it, I'm sure we'll head out early and rest a bit.

Weeeeell, I guess it depends on how long those days start to feel. :rolleyes1 :rotfl:
