UMP for guests on DVC stay?

We're taking my husband's family over Thanksgiving, and they want to get length of stay passes (which I think they are now calling Unlimited Magic Passes). My husband and I have APs so we won't be using them. My question is if we buy the passes, will they still get the discount & will the passes be coded onto the room keys?

Technically, they have to be staying in the same villa as you. Many times this is overlooked and you can purchase the passes for the guests in your party. They will be coded on to their keys.
