Um, we might need to redo our Disney Guest Bathroom

While reading the reviews I came across this I think I just found my niece's christmas gift!

Really?

You don't think that "Pooh" in the bathroom is a little "on the nose"?

:rotfl2:

Do they have a Mickey theme one? I'd get those. LOL

All of those fixtures just make us laugh. Sure, we WANT to put them in the bathroom, but then reality sets in and we know we need to draw the line at some point. Here's our latest additions to the Disney Guestroom just in time for the party tomorrow:

1950's Mickey base lamp. You can turn it once and mickey lights up, twice the shade lights up, third time and both light up. It's SO cute.

1960's Mickey Clock Radio. Kept finding it on ebay for hundreds and again found some poor sap who didn't know what he had and we go it cheap. It still works and lights up.

So now our guest can have light and listen to music in Disney fashion.

OH and we got a 1950's Disney ashtray that was sold at the parks. Back when smoking was cool there I guess. We had to have it just because. lol

I agree, at SOME point we draw the line...I'm just not there yet! :thumbsup2

Good luck at the party, I hope you post pics!;)

Can you believe that after all the planning, all the decorating, we only took pics of about 4 people, plus ourselves in front of the tree?

Before you knew it, we had around 60 people in our house within minutes of starting time. We were running around like idiots giving tours of the home, directing people for coat drop off, pointing out the food and where the drinks were and where the smokers needed to go. Steven and I only saw each other a handful of times throughout the party and only for about a minute each time. It was crazy! Because after the first 60 people showed up at 7pm, by 8:30 we were at 100. Totally nuts.

We took not one picture. We didn't have time. :rotfl:

Wow! That's one heck of a party! Ummm... no damage to your beautiful home, I hope? Simply due to sheer numbers of course.

We don't usually take photos of our parties either. :confused3

You both must be outstanding hosts, and what joy to have so many share in what you have created.

I know if I ever get that far west and south, not really likely, I am dropping by for a visit. After an internet shout out of course, my Momma raised me right:lmao:call before you crash someone's house!

I think those fixtures would be really hard to keep clean. I hate to clean. Faucet handles that have to be scrubbed with a toothbrush would put me over the edge.

Glad the party was a success! :goodvibes

Thanks honey! Did you end up having a good time at WDW for the holidays? Is there a trip report?

I shouldn't tell you this, but since I don't have expendable income I can't but stuff anyway, but....................Check shopgoodwill.com. I have gotten some nice stuff off there for cheap.

I have a Mickey room. someday it will be done. Right now the Mickey Tree is up in the middle of it. When I get the pics over to photobucket, I'll come back and show you all.
