UK - Image file type question

A cake designer friend of mine submitted some digital image files to a UK magazine to be included in their next issue. The magazine replied with a request that the files be submitted in "CMYK jpegs at 300 DPI, and no less than 10cm x 10cm". We're lost! How do we go about saving in CMYK jpegs and making sure that the are at least 10cm x 10cm and 300 DPI? Any suggestions would be appreciated!

CMYK is pretty standard for publishing. What photo editing software do you have available?

Photoshop will save to CMYK, I'm sure other programs will as well.

DPI and cm don't mix, it's like miles per liter fuel economy! ;) In any event, if you save as 4" x4" at 300 dpi (or 1200 x 1200 pixels) it should be close enough.
