Uhm....Bahamas is now requiring vaccinations for all passengers over 12..

If they announced the update last Friday (and sent out an e-mail), 18+ unvaccinated passengers could have tried to get the J&J shot. There are going to be tons of upset unvaccinated passengers when they do announce something. I really have no idea why they are dragging their feet on this!!!

Really? They just had it in Walmart in this area (live on the boarders of two states and they both had it).

Our sports teams are offering them at events. Basically, come to event, get a shot. I believe the vaccine station at our state fair is also J&J, since for those kinds of walk-up events J&J works better (one dose). I'd look for that kind of clinic (walk up, not a Rite Aid or Walgreens).

Yep. Honestly this is shaping up to be a disaster no matter which way it goes. If they mandate vaccines (which I think they have to at this point), there are going to be so many people just showing up on 9/3 and being turned away.

It says those locations have vaccine in stock. It suggests checking for appointments. I suspect most of those locations have walk up availability

The last article I read said there is a lack of supply of the J and J.

Cast, Florida and Travel agent discounts are all available now. That’s not telling us that these ships are full as some people are concerned about and that they have a secret plan to cancel til 11/1 …..

So the Bahamas requires full vaccination to sail there, and every other cruise line complies and requires full vaccination. But you believe Disney will cancel sailings instead? I find the chance of that slim. I think DCL can still make money on cruises to the Bahamas with a lighter load because their prices are higher to begin with and going to CC takes very little fuel.
