So the first half of my review pictures are up! (all the way up to Le Cellier, after that you can't see anything) I really want to keep updating my reviews, but it just doesn't seem right to post a review without any fabulous pics! So I'm just waiting to see what's going on with my photobucket account, then I'll post ASAP!!! Thanks for bearing with my guys!! :worship:

Coming out of lurkdom to join in, better late than never!! :goodvibes I have confidence that you will win the fight with photobucket!!

To be honest, I really tried to not think about weight gain during the trip because it's really not relaxing stressing over how many calories that sauce has or what the fat content is of that cake, etc. As you can see from my meals, nothing was ever really healthy, but I didn't try to overeat at all..once I reached my fullness capacity I stopped! I'm usually pretty good at portion control I think! I did kick my cardio up a notch the week before my trip though. And I working out 2 or 3 times during our trip at the CSR exercise room. But really we walked so much it was ridiculous! I wore a pedometer and on one of the days I clocked in like 13 miles or something! And sometimes we were speed walking like at rope drop so that got my heart rate up! I usually work out 4-5 days a week, 3 days at 45 minutes of cardio, the other 2 at 60 minutes of cardio, then 3 days I do strength training, the other 2 days stomach only...right now I'm in between a size 4 and 6 which SUCKS because all my 4 stuff is a little snug, but all my 6 stuff is too big!!!

Bangzoom, you just made me feel like a fat cow...I ate the whole thing to myself!!! :rotfl: Cardio here I come!!! :lmao:

You definitely have the right attitude toward eating on vacation! I think I just need to do what you did and stop when I feel satisfied, then I will be all right. How was the gym at the resort? I do this DVD program called ChaLEAN Extreme. It's lifting heavy weights very slowly, and it works really well. I do that 3 days a week and the in-between days are for cardio, abs and stretching. Do you know if the gym at your resort had heavy dumbbells? I'm sure all the resort gyms are relatively the same as each other, so the one at BWV should be like the one where you stayed. If they have them, I will feel much better...I can just bring along my guidebook (it has each workout's moves in it) and do the workouts based on that, don't need the DVD. Wearing a pedometer also sounds like a great idea! I am curious to see how much I actually walk each day we go to a park! The goal is to lift weights at the resort gym on the days we don't go to a park and on the other days, not worry because I am doing so much walking.

We are in too deep with you...

Omgoodness you are TOO sweet!!! :worship:

Yes, please! Step into the light and out of the darkness!!! :lmao: Well at least someone has confidence in me!! I'm lacking that with PB!!!

Have never heard of ChaLEAN...I'm actually doing the opposite of what you're doing...I'm doing light weights, high reps...I'm actually doing the Jillian Michaels Fat Blasting DVD where you do different moves at once so you get the cardio in plus your burning calories to burn fat! It was INTENSE for the first couple weeks but I noticed improvments in my arms which was where I REALLY needed help in! And now I'm kicking it into high mode now that my little bro is getting married in May! :scared1: What's even scarier is that I'm wearing a sleeveless dress!!!:scared1: I know right??! lol! Wish me luck on that!

And I do believe there were some heavy dumbbells...what are you lifting like 10lbs? The CSR gym was REALLY nice..small, but up-to-date on their cardio machines which was really cool, and they had a towel at every station...it was really well kept and there was never more than 3 ppl at a time when I went...mostly guys, but oh well!

I lift anywhere between 8 lbs and 25 lbs in each hand!! :scared1: I used to do what you do, high reps and low weight (3 or 5 lbs). I did that for a long time then decided to try something new and I really love it. ChaLEAN Extreme goes by the scientific principle that muscle burns fat, so the more muscle you have the more efficient your body is at burning fat. I was scared it would bulk me up but then I did some reading on it and what I found out is that for women, you cannot bulk up like a man does because we lack that amount of testosterone, which is required to bulk you up. The program works very well...I've been doing it since early November...I have gotten smaller in the waist, hips and thighs, my arms are the same circumference at the peak of the bicep but they look much more toned than before. And I can definitely eat more than before without gaining. I do cardio twice a week though...one of the cardio workouts focuses on intervals of cardio and endurance training with light weights and high reps, the other one focuses on just cardio. Then there is a 20-minute flexibility routine that I do once a week.

I've actually tried the Jillian Michaels workouts from Exercise On Demand (on Fios TV). They are very similar to the cardio workout I do with the intervals of cardio and endurance. Sometimes I substitute one of Jillian Michaels' workouts on those days.

The creator of ChaLEAN Extreme is Chalene Johnson, and she also created Turbo Jam which I used to do all the time. Those are also awesome workouts! Kickboxing and dance combined!

I'm sure you will look beautiful at the wedding in May!! You're a beautiful looking girl and it sounds like you are working hard to stay in shape! To me, you look very cute and petite in your pictures!

love your dining reviews!!!! :goodvibes

Thanks so much! I promise I'll continue as soon as my darn photobucket account is up and running again!

GOODNESS!!! That is an insane amount!!! I remember a LONG time ago when I was 20 (yes only 5 years ago but seems so long ago! :lmao:), I used to curl 15 lbs on each arm, but I started bulking up BIG time! So much that my DH (at the time bf) would not let me lift any weights! He was clearly jealous! :rotfl:

But i'm really starting to like how i'm looking and feeling, so I'll keep this up for a little bit until I'm not noticing any changes, then I'll change it up! Perhaps look into the program youre doing!

I've heard of her!! Kickboxing and dancing together sounds awesome!!! I should check that out! I have on Comcast on Demand, so i'm wondering if she has any of her programs on Demand :confused3 I should check that out too!

Well I greatly appreciate you saying that!!! :worship: Now if I can keep it up beyond the wedding, THAT will be the true challenge right there!!! :rotfl2:

I FINALLY got an email from photobucket regarding my second account!!! My pictures will be showing again on thursday(25th)! :cool1: That's not too far away! So thursday is when I will update for sure!!! Thanks for sticking around folks!!!!:worship:

Thanks so much! I promise I'll continue as soon as my darn photobucket account is up and running again!

Unfortunately, Chalene doesn't have any of her stuff On Demand. You have to buy it through Beachbody. But Turbo Jam is a lot of fun and so worth it. I have no time for a gym because I have little ones, so I can just work out at home when it is convenient. Also, since we get snow here in the winter (NYC), no excuse that I can't workout because of the weather!

So far I haven't bulked up. Each exercise is only one set. You lift VERY slowly. So, here's how the program works:

Month 1 (called "Burn Phase"), you do weight lifting 3 days a week (different muscle groups on each day). Each exercise is a combo of a lower body and upper body exercise, with the exception of a few that are thigh and calf. For example, you will do a lunge and then a tricep kickback and repeat. You are supposed to fail or fatigue between the 10th and 12th rep. That's it, one set of each exercise. There are 9 exercises in each workout. After each of the last 3 exercises, you do a breakdown set of 3 reps after a 10-second break.

Month 2 (called "Push Phase"), you are lifting heavier, also 3 days a week (again, different muscle groups on each day). Each exercise only focuses on one muscle. For example, only the squat or only bicep curls. You are supposed to fail or fatigue between the 6th and 8th rep. One set of each exercise. There are 9 exercises in each workout. The breakdown set of 3 reps is done after each of the last 6 exercises after a 10-second break.

Month 3 (called "Lean Phase"), you lift 3 days a week (different muscle groups) and you go back to failing between the 10th and 12th rep. The exercises are all a combination of upper body, lower body and core. One set per exercise again, and also 9 exercises per workout. You do a breakdown set of 3 reps after every single set after a 10-second break. Lots of push-ups in this phase!

For the entire duration of the program, there are 2 additional days of working out. One day is Burn Intervals, which is short bursts of extreme cardio and short recovery areas where you do endurance training with light weights and high reps. The other day is Burn it off, which is all cardio, plus Recharge, which is stretching and yoga. You get 2 days off a week, but I sometimes do some extra stretching.

After the 3 months, you can do the "Lean for Life" Phase, which combines workouts from all 3 phases, plus your cardio days. Then you are supposed to do a different phase each month so your muscles don't get too used to the workout and so you don't plateau.

I did all 4 months, and now I am in the middle of the Burn Phase again. I'm just doing a different phase each month, and basically doing it all over again but lifting heavier since I am much stronger. I love this program!!!!

OK, now that I probably put you to sleep with all that...:rotfl:...I am looking forward to more of your reviews!! I missed them the last few days!!

Glad you got your account sorted, looking forward to more reviews :)

Hey bangzoom877, that's great info!! That might save me some $$ this summer on a personal trainer!!

The program is great, but I did spend some money on it. However, I have it forever and a gym membership is an annual fee, and a very high one, at least here in NY.

The ChaLEAN Extreme program costs 3 payments of $39.95, a total of about $120. Not bad at all. I got the regular package. There is a deluxe package that is twice the price and includes more cardio workouts for variety. Since I already have a pretty large DVD collection of cardio workouts, I didn't need more variety because I already have it.

DH started doing the program 3 weeks ago and he loves it. He hates dancing around the livingroom but has no problem lifting weights to a DVD and the cardio is really simple so he is ok with it. He also rides his bicycle when the weather is nice so he can do that for cardio once it is warmer again consistently. We only had weights that go up to 20 pounds. They were too light for him after the first week! So we got the Select Tech adjustable dumbbells. They range from 5 to 52.5 pounds. Between 5 and 25, they go up in 2.5 pound increments, and then in 5-pound increments thereafter. We love them! DH is already using 30 pounds for some exercises, and once he starts the second phase next week he will definitely be lifting even heavier since you have to reach fatigue between 6 and 8 reps.

The Select Tech adjustable dumbbells cost $399 including free shipping, so they were very pricey. However, they were much more economical and practical than buying various pairs of dumbbells in heavier weight amounts. Just a pair of 30-pound dumbbells costs over $100! So we did much better buying the adjustable ones. You could also use resistance bands which are much cheaper, but I don't like the feel of resistance bands...I feel I have much more control and better form with weights.

A friend of mine at work has a personal trainer at the gym and she is in wonderful shape. I told her what I am doing and she said it is basically like what her trainer has her doing.

OK, so now that I have completely hijacked this thread to talk about my obsession with working out...sorry Leshaface ...I am ready for more food porn and wonderful, *bubbly* reviews!!! Can't wait to read more! ;)

I spent $500 last year to get 8 - 1 hour sessions with a trainer. I still say it was the best $500 I have ever spent (I lost 10lbs, I'm back to a size 6/7) and have kept it off, but $120 sounds dreamy:cloud9: We already have dumbells , I did see those dumbells you were talking about at Costco hmmmm I could really use a change.

OK, back the the food porn (the only reason I work out, so I can eat eat eat:rotfl: BTW, you started the hijack!!

Ahh yes, but you did contribute to the hijack!! :lmao:

Yes, we need more food porn and I think I can safely say we are all standing by and waiting for more! popcorn:: Food porn is like a drug...once you start looking at it, it becomes very addictive and you need your fix! :rotfl:

BTW, I also work out so I can eat more and stay a size 4!! I started working out in 2002 because of health reasons (high cholesterol at age 25!), but it has become, "if I do this then I can eat more...we are going out to dinner tonight so I will do a heavier workout!" And of course it has also become, "wow, I want to look even better". Yes, sometimes I get obsessed...my two obsessions are food and working out! Oh yes, and baking!

Wow this actually sounds really interesting! Something I could actually like!! Thanks for all that wonderful info!!! Haha, and no you didn't put me to sleep! I love reading about different workouts and how the workouts transform your body and such! So thanks bangzoom!

Glad you got your account sorted, looking forward to more reviews :)

I know I'm so happy I could dance! So I will!! :dancer:

I knew you would win!!! Can't wait till Thursday!

Must admit, CfD, I didn't think I could overcome this obstacle...but with pixie dust from my dis friends and me constantly praying, it WORKED!! :lmao:

Nope, no such thing as hijacking here guys!!! Loved reading all of it, and I'm hoping that maybe it will help others who are reading as well!!!

BANGZOOM!!! The school bread pic is working!!! This means all my pics are up!!!

MY PICTURES ARE VISIBLE NOW!!! ALL OF THEM!!! :cool1: I never thought this day would come, where I can view every single pic that I uploaded! Ah-mazing!!! lol! Alright, now that Photobucket is back on my friends list, let's get on to CITRICOS!!!

So today was Citricos day and I was very happy to be checking this place out! Today was also the “real” Wishes night! I say real because nothing beats watching Wishes then from inside the park right? And this would be my first time EVER watching Wishes from inside!!! So two awesome things right in a row! Eeekk!! So because of this, I made an early ADR for 5:30, again, right when the restaurant opens.

Did I mention that we are here at WDW celebrating DH’s graduation and our 4 year anniversary?!?! :confused3 Ohhhh no??? Well guys, we’re here celebrating our 4 year anniversary and DH’s graduation!! And why did I forget to mention this in the beginning you might ask? Because along with all the restaurants, I too, forgot what we were doing at WDW…yes, I made a note with every single restaurant that we were there celebrating something, and I verified it with Dining Reservations when I called, but for some reason, it never got brought up….UNTIL NOW!!!!

Personalized menus!!!

When the hostess said, I see you’re celebrating some things here, we were so confused, like, we are??? OH YEAH!!!! WE ARE!!! I told her that this was the first restaurant of our trip to recognize our anniversary/graduation! She said well you should be getting that a lot throughout all of your trip! Uh, no…I said this was our second to last signature restaurant of our trip, and we’ve had table service/sig restaurants at least twice a day, and no one has said anything. She was shocked! She said the note has been made on our reservation and wondered why this happened! Oh well, I was just happy to even remember what we were celebrating! I knew, after that, that tonight was going to be fantastic!

Our waiter was James and he was so neat! Again, very talkative, just how I like ‘em. We talked about Long Beach, school, Yuengling vs Sierra Nevada, yada yada…speaking of Yuengling, two please! (2@5.75)

We then asked for his recommendation of some of the apps and entrees…he recommended the Potato and Leek soup and the Sauteed Shrimp for apps and the Braised Short Ribs and Braised Veal Shank for entrees. Okay, so we live in the heart of Cow Country…we are known around the world for our rich soil and agriculture, so dairy’s are home to us…we have this thing about Veal…and yes, this topic can be debated to death, but that’s just our personal preference and we won’t eat anything that contains Veal. So we told James about it and he understood, and he said it’s kind of like how some people are about Foie Gras…:confused3…I asked him what he meant…and he told me…:scared1: NOOOOOOO!!!! I LOVE FOIE GRAS!!! James, your tip has now been reduced by 100%!!! Haha!

No, but he understood, so he still recommended some other options for us, but I took a liking to his other options that he stated earlier so let’s begin!

Appetizers:

Sauteed Shrimp - Lemon, White Wine, Tomatoes, and Feta Cheese(14.00)

HUGE chunks of Feta, beautiful & juicy tomatoes, and perfect shrimp! This dish was wonderful! And doesn’t it look purty!

DH ordered the Duck Confit with Chestnut Gnocchi – served with Huckleberry Gastrique, Pomegranate Seeds, and Tri-colored Carrots (12.00)

Yeah, I know, we JUST talked about Duck and DH orders this!!! :rotfl2: Gotta love him! But really, it was so good! Pomegranate seeds, sounded weird, but paired great with duck and the gnocchi was awesome!!! And for such a great price, I wouldn’t pass it up!!

Entrees:

DH and I both went with James recommendation of the Braised Short Ribs – creamy polenta, sautéed greens, and blood orange demi-glace (38.00)

UGH, kill me now, and I’ll be happy! No, wait till after Wishes, then I’ll be VERY happy! Hehe! FANTASTIC!!! The meat was so tender and juicy, and I ate every single thing on my plate…RIDUNCULOUS!!! We couldn’t thank James enough for his recommendation! Guess your tip is coming back up buddy! :thumbsup2

Desserts:

Another reason why I like James: As we were ordering our desserts, he asked us if we would like to use our Non-alcoholic beverage toward a cappuccino or a latte… You’re telling me, I could have had a latte with dessert every freakin day???? He laughed and said yes, or we could have had bottled waters to take back to our rooms with us! You’ve gotta be joking! James, why didn’t you come into our lives at the beginning of the trip! Uggh, oh well, so yes we did order two lattes (2@3.89) and thanked him for the 411…I’ll remember this next time fo shizzle!

Duh, of course I ordered…the Tropical Fruit Crème Brulee (8.00)

The berries were so sweet and juicy, but I wished the sugar was burnt a little bit more on top…doesn’t mean I didn’t clean my plate though! ;)

DH ordered the, I think, the Citrus soaked Angel food cake - With fresh berries soaked and infused with honey and cointreau (8.00)

Have to be honest, I didn’t get a chance to try it…Not by choice of course…looking at it right now, I could strangle DH for not letting me have a chance to taste it! So, yes, it was probably very good!

So while we were eating dessert, I started to get the giggles…BAD! I mean embarrassingly bad…when something is really funny to me, I burst out loud laughing, and then DH starts laughing because of how I sound and how random I am. I started to think of DH’s obsession with Yuengling, and started thinking, “What if DH were to randomly go up to tables recommending Yuengling and DH holding his bottle advertising how great it is!?” BAHAHA! So I told DH what I was thinking, and he started getting up with his bottle to go advertise, and that’s when I lost it! Have you ever seen the Seinfeld episode where Jerry put the Pez dispenser on Elaine’s lap during the piano performance and Elaine just starts busting up while leaving the theater?? Yup, that’s pretty much how I looked walking to the bathroom…LOL!! I seriously believe that James put something in our lattes to make us go psycho! :rotfl:

Ahhhh, anyways our dinner was delightful and fun…probably our funnest meal yet! And we were cutting it close to the Wishes performance…YES, we were there for almost 2 ½ hours!!! That’s how much we were enjoying ourselves, taking our time eating and talking and laughing.

So DH waits for the bill and tells me to just go ahead and go to the MK to make sure I get a spot to record Wishes. So I go and watch it…by myself, but oh well…DH in the meantime, didn’t get to the MK until 8:10ish so he just stood outside the gates taking pics for me…

For those using the Deluxe Dining Plan, they take 2 credits per person because it’s a Signature restaurant, so it’s 4 credits total.

For those paying OOP, here was our total for 2 Yuenglings, 2 appetizers, 2 entrees, 2 desserts, and 2 lattes with tax = $146.21

We LOVED Citricos! :lovestruc Maybe it was our personalized menus, maybe it was the company, or just maybe it was the spiked lattes, but
Citricos is a MUST DO!!! Oh and I must mention this, the seats were PHENOMENAL! So dang comfy!!! I know, completely random, but Leshaface and random are pretty much a package deal folks!

Leshaface signing off!
