Love your reviews! Our last visit to HBD was a bit less than spectacular (it has always been great otherwise) but I still love that cobb salad!
Ugh, what were we thinking?! 9 days Deluxe Dining with pics! MY Number 2! 7/21!

I also have to say, you sound like such an upbeat and fun person--sometimes I get tired or reading all the negative reviews (especially when I KNOW I'd love to eat what they had!)--so it's so nice to read your's! Excellent job and thank you so much for taking the time to do this!

Funny thing with that particular pic...as soon as I took it, I dripped it all down the front of my brand new Epcot sweatshirt. That's when my DH said, "Disney alcohol taking its effect already?" I was like, "Uh...nope, its the first one of the day." He was like, "Overly excited?". My response, "Yep, always excited over the adult Disney drinks."
After that convo...I was realizing that Disney is not stingy withe their alcohol content because by Canada I had a HUGE grin on my face...that is, unless I am seriously turning into a lightweight.
They honestly aren't stingy at all..which can be good or bad...I prefer good though!

Great review, never really looked into HBD tbh. Loving that Glowing Cocktail, you just know its going to be good when it glows
I took the glow cube with me, so now whenever I make a drinky at home, I throw it in, and voila! A Disney Drink instantly!
Right???!! I love seeing the inside of restaurants! So I figured, maybe there are others out there that wanna see it too, you know?

just want to say thanks for posting all this!! it's awesome with all the pics and fun to read! I usually don't read trip reports as they can be kind of a snooze but this one is fantastic!! You have an awesome personality and your humor is great, nice to read something so upbeat! can't wait to read more

Ciao Bella/Bello!
So this was our first meal EVER at the Magic Kingdom!!! And I was ECSASTIC! We spend LOTS of time here so why not freaking eat here, right???
So after exploring the park for a few hours, we arrived at Tonys about 5 mins before our ADR time at 12:20pm, checked in and seated us right away! YAY!
Heres the Lobby sorry literally no time for other pics!
I love, love, LOVE Lady and the Tramp! Anyone hear the song Lady by Kenny Rogers? Heart it! So this restaurant was right up my alley! Not much going on as far as décor, but there are pictures around the place of scenes from Lady and the Tramp which was really cute! Oh and there is a fountain featuring the leading lady and her man in the middle of the restaurant, but alas no pic of that!
This seriously CANNOT be my only pic of the restaurant!!!

The Appetizers:
I had the Calamari tossed with Olive Relish and served with a side of marinara sauce ~9.99
It was super tasty! Ive had some crappy cal before, but this was great! Not too greasy!
DH had the Butternut Squash Soup ~ 5.49
What the frick!? (Chris Kattan as Mango, SNL) Disney chefs have got all the soups down!!! This was sooo good!!! Doesnt look like much, but goodness gracious! Now, Im not saying its better then Artist Points Portobello Mushroom Soup by any means, but this soup is really good! Our waiter said it was a seasonal soup, so it may not be there by the time you go and try it, but definitely ask!
By the way, our waiter was AH-MAZING! Never once did we ask for anything! He was on us like white on rice! We would not even be halfway done with our sodas (2.69 @ 2) when he would bring us our refill and he did this three times! He was awesome! Snaps to him!
The Entrees:
Pretty much any Italian restaurant I go to , I ALWAYS get Spaghetti and Meatballs and Tonys was no exception! I dont know why I do that! Lol! DH HATES when I order that! But I know what I like so BACK OFF!
Spaghetti with choice of meatballs or sweet Italian sausage in marinara sauce ~ 16.99
Really no one can ruin S&M for me (LOL! Omgosh I dont mean S&M like the kinky S&M, but Spaghetti and Meatballs! Get your mind of the gutter thats right, Im talking to YOU!) LOL!...ah, anyways .
DH ordered the Eggplant Catasta (Stack) layers of eggplant, caramelized onions, fresh mozzarella, and parmesan with marinara sauce over penne pasta ~ 15.99
Doesnt look like much, but its great! We both are huge fans of eggplant and DH likes Penne pasta so this was a match made in heaven! Oh see the bread on the plate DONT EAT IT! Unless you want to chip a tooth then go right ahead its super dry! Gnarly! But really, with the pasta dishes do we really need all these carbs!?! Ugh, someone stop me! The health lady is coming out to play!
The Desserts:
Im a Crème Brulee freak, so naturally I went with it! Pistachio Crème Brulee sereved with strawberries~ 5.99
Why was this the best CB Ive had the entire trip??? I mean this thing was gone within seconds of taking this pic! I swear! DH was like, WTH where did it all go!? Lol! No crème brulee for you!
DH wasnt too hungry so he ordered the Gelato Italian style icecream, chocolate or vanilla ~ 4.49
No pic, because its literally ice cream well actually you can see it in my horrific seating pic here Ill repost it again! Haha!

For those using the Deluxe Dining Plan, they take 1 credit per person because its a Table service restaurant, so its 2 credits total.
For those paying OOP, here was our total with 2 non-alcoholic beverages, 2 appetizers, 2 entrees, 2 desserts, and tax: $68.51
Overall, I was pleased with this place! I would say the census for Tony's on the DIS is really about 50%. Im always either reading how disgusto this place is or how yummy it is!
Will my next trip have Tonys on my ADR list? Probably not but remember this was my first restaurant in the MK, and Im an explorer! I want to see what else MK has to offer. So this doesnt mean Im scratching Tonys off my list!

Your reviews are fantastic. I work with a guy who also speaks in movie quotes. His favorites are from any Adam Sandler movies or Wedding Crashers.
Btw, we live about 20 minutes from the original Yuengling brewery. When we took my dad to WDW in 2006 many of the CMs were surprised that he could pronounce "Yuengling" correctly. He loves their lager.

For some reason I remember white table cloths on all the tables at Tony's...though I really think I prefer it without them!

Another awesome installment, chickie
1.) We ate at Tony's in 2005 and it was terrific. There was no one in there when we went at lunch either I am not sure why its a 50/50 split when it comes to who loves it and who doesn't, but I am in the top 50 (the ones who like it LOL). Glad you guys had a wonderful experience.
2.) Creme Brulee....ohhh, a girl after my own heart. Love creme brulee. Can't get enough of it.

Thanks for showing all the cuteness that is the interior of Tony's! We didn't eat table service at MK because nothing really stood out as superior food based on DIS reviews, but the cute decor (and my love of Lady and the Tramp) might make it worthwhile. How badly can you screw up spaghetti anyways?
