Ugh!! I wish I would've listened to this advice! So... I went to Verizon and bought a new 6s. Bought one of those glass protectors & a new cover. Well, 4 days later (yesterday) I dropped it leaving MK, and my screen broke! . I am sick about it! I never do this kind of stuff! I wish I would've bought the rugged cover instead of the pretty, shiny one.

Yeah, a life proof case or an otterbox works wonders! We bought ours off eBay, and we don't think they are real sadly. Ebay gave us a refund, but they've worked and worked!
I dropped an iPod touch once and shattered it. I was sick to my stomach. I bought an ugly but effective case for it.

OH.MY.GOSH! You poor thing!!! I hate the thought of having my sleek, pretty rose gold phone in a rugged, clunky case. Why do they make the phones so pretty only to have to cover them up?!?!

So sorry this happened. I'm always afraid I will break my screen when I drop my phone, or my grandmunchkins drop it(too often unfortunately) I have a decorative Disney Rooney and Burke case on it, which matches my Rooney purse, even though I KNOW I should have an otter box on it.

Anyway, I hope this was your "bad luck" and the rest of your vacation will be full of pixie dust and wonderful memories!!!

How badly is it shattered? Oftentimes they are still quite usable...just a bit of a nuisance. I would think I'd deal with the annoyance of it for the trip and then look at my options after getting back unless there are chunks of glass falling out of it. If you are able to wait it is not particularly difficult to replace it yourself. You can probably youtube it or ask around and find a friend that can do it. It's too expensive to go to a repair place IMO.
