Your 2004 points will expire on Dec 31st, in any event.

I agree with the above posters, since it is one reservation MS will treat all the points the same. If you cancel one of the dates, the points returned will be 2005 points, since they use the 2004 points first.

I don't think you really need to worry about this as long as you don't cancel the whole trip.

Use the banked points first, you will be better off. If you have to cancel or not, the banked points are at most risk. The risk is actually more if you don't use them first. If you had to cancel part of the days, MS will fix it for you to minimize your risk. As for being able to use current pts before banked ones, you should be able to do that. Just call back or ask for a supervisor.

I'm sure you meant Jan 31, 2006 assuming these are Feb points as it appears they are.
