Ugh! ADRs!

Wow! I hope they get this figured out this doesn't seem fair! I make my ADR's Tuesday and by the way things are sounding it's not going to be fun!! Please update if anyone finally gets some adr's later!!! I am dreding this phone call Tuesday!!

I feel really bad for the people who aren't in the know regarding ADRs. I tell all people going to WDW the first time how important it is to make them. However, some of them laugh me off because they think I'm exaggerating. The way it looks, if I didn't make anything for my August trip, I'd be eating outside the park every night!!!

I know I'm really dreding it honestly! Maybe with some Pixie Dust and some Disney Magic it will be all worked out by tuesday and we will get at least some of what we want! The only benefit I see is that our trips either go later into August and the begining of Sept and theres more than likely do not! I hope And the deluxe diners can make 3 TS ressies a day! I think Disney really needs to get this worked out or they will have some very unhappy Guests!

Well I had some successes but some failures

Cape May dinner (now my husband really wants to go there though, can't pass up a clam bake)

What we wanted:
Chef de France

May I ask what time you got for Cape May? We wanted dinner and the earliest we could get was 7:30.

Also looking to get into Chefs de France. Hopefully we'll both get that later today.

I am thinking for those of you who weren't sure why Chef's De France is so popular on the Adr list this time is because of Remy making appearances there. This is new and most haven't experienced seeing Remy and some have never done Chef's De France so kill 2 birds with 1 stone!

Funny you say that because I was just doing the same thing ! Because when you are on the phone and they ask what else you want to try it's almost like your mind goes blank if you don't have it written down!!

This is a concern of mine as well. I'm afraid its gonna be a "free for all!" I think I'd feel better if it were left in the hands of the CMs.

I'm right here with all of you in this ADR mess!

I'm actually lying here in bed sick: for 4 days now) thinking the world hates me. And I read this post and not feel so alone.

I was up really early and was on hold for about 45 mins the first time and 1hr the next.

I got some of our wish list but didn't get O'Hana, LeCellier, Sci Fi and Teppan Edo.

Even the back ups I chose weren't there either...Captain's Grill, Spoodles, San Angel, Shutters and Olivia's.

I was offered Cindy's Royal Table , I kick myself now that I didn't take it.
Oh and I was offered Biergarden too!

I hope they do fix the problem and we all end up happy.

If someone get's a GOOD ADR, let us all know so we can call back.

Thanks for the heads up, I'll try again after 2pm!

I went through this all on Wednesday. Actually got through pretty quickly but couldn't get anything at Hollywood Studios. The castmember thought it was because those restaurants were not loaded yet, we continued on with our other ones for 9 guests, for 7 reservations got first choice on all but one had to be switched from Whispering Canyon to 1900 Park Fare, then we went back for HS and they were still not available, some type of error code. The CM said to call back around 2pm. Well I called at about 12:40pm and was able to get my 2nd choice for Fantasmic dinner, and the Sci Fi reservation lunch my kids insist on. I am happy now, and not going to try and switch anymore because in the long run I think these will work out the best for us.

Just called back and was told that there is a system problem. Most popular restaurants are coming up with error codes, which doesn't necessarily mean that these places are booked.........try again later!!!!!

UGH! While I was on the phone the agent said she had to reboot her computer. They had a power bump right after I gave her my ressie#.

I guess the rain is really bad down there right now. Maybe it is causing probs with the computers?
