Not all states or school districts feel that way. Some actually allow for Disney to be an educational trip. I have friends who take their children out of school for vacation because it's the only time that they can get away as a family. Not only does the school NOT consider it neglect, they actually encourage that family time.
Not in San Antonio...they value education first so no out of school trips here unless you want unexcused absences.
(can someone tell me how to subscribe, please?) Not that this thread will be difficult to locate! 






I like to see new places & do new things even if it means not repeating my favorite spots. OTOH, it is pretty cool that folks can find a place that's so special to them that they want to go back over & over & over. 
can I get a dole whip to go with my popcorn????
