from this never-ending debate in my head!!! We have officially decided to take a LAST MINUTE trip to WDW 4/6-12! Yay! NOW... do we stay on or off site? We were last in WDW 10 months ago, so it's not like we feel the need to do COMMANDO style... but I LOVE staying on-site... only thing is w/6 people in the family, we'd have to get connecting value rooms (pop or ASMo I think) -- which is fine and dandy... but for the same price, we could rent a condo and a car, or even stay at a luxury suite at a nearby Marriott... and have a nicer pool (w/water slide and hot tub!!!... kids are 6 and under so only 1 or 2 would take advantage of it, plus me and dh!).

Plus, it's sounding like it will be crowded, so staying on-site, we could take advantage of EMH and going back to the room midday... I know if we stayed off-site, we'd never make it back to the parks at night... thereby decreasing our times and value of tix in the park!

So, WHAT DO IT DO!!??? I can't decide... You all, help me!!!! :confused3

I'd check resort availability first. Seems it is pretty crowded this year, so your mind may be made up for you!

You could always check the HAH resorts and rent from a DVC on the boards. There are some right now trying to rent by a certain date.

At such a busy time, I'd try for onsite. That way you also have access to EMH and won't have t pay parking fees or drive your own vehicle during your stay!

that's what I was thinking... re the emh!!! Gymbomom, I perused the DVC board... maybe some possibilities there... but ultimately, I think it will still be more expensive than I want to spend~

I would try to stay on site as well - the crowds will be large but having the advantage of the EMH would be nice - and just think how packed the parking lots will be!!!!

So you must have at least 1 under 3? Could you stay at POR with a trundle in 1 room? I think I just read that they aren't charging for the trundle anymore.
