My DD is turning 7 and HAS to have a pair of UGGs this year. LOL. As a single mom, the extras are tough. Does anyone know the best place for discounted UGGs? Or know where I could get a coupon code? Thanks in advance. Stacey

You can check 6PM and Eastbay, they have some styles/colors on sale. If you are looking for real UGGs in standard colors (black, chestnut, brown) then you won't find much of a discount on them anywhere.
If she just wants UGG like boots then you can probably find them in any store.

6pm.com, last years styles but good prices.

Don't know if your dd needs actual Uggs, but my 10 yo dd loves her Emus that we got at the Stride Rite outlet for $30.00 and her Kirkland ones from Costco that I think were $35. Her Emu's are the short bootie kind in caramel and her Costco ones are tall and black. The Kirkland brand are made from the same materials as Uggs and are very comfortable. She just got her Emu's but this is the brand that was Uggs before Ugg's got bought out.

Hope this helps,

I told both of my DDs that unless they spend their own money, they're not getting shoes that cost that much until their feet have stopped growing!

Seriously! We looked at Uggs at Lord & Taylor today, and the cheapest pair was $140. They'll wear them for a few months and grow out of them. Totally not worth it.

There are TONS of knock-offs -- we got the cutest ones at Old Navy last year for $20 and my DDs loved them.

I would never spend that kind of money on shoes for a 7-year old. JMO.

She's 7.....one would think she could live with the knock-offs.

Well, I'll probably get slammed here but my DD has had UGGs since she was 3. She wears them for just about a winter and a half each. Sad to say where we live kids know the difference between UGGs and the "fake UGGs" as everyone calls them..

Anyway, my DD is 7 and this will be her fourth pair and honestly, they stand up very well, are very warm and my DS plays hockey so believe me my DD gets her wear out of them. She starts wearing them in September and stops around the first week of May.

As one PP said 6pm.com has good deals, just odd colors. cozyboots.com is a good site and has free shipping.

I know they're pricey, but sometimes as my mother always says, "you get what you pay for...."

I usually get DD a pair in nov. We are sble to get a deal by getting then at journeyz at the mall. DD is part of the birthdays club and is sent a 15% off coupon. I use that on the uggs.

I also lucked out and found some at off saks fifth. Theybare the cardie knitted kind. They were normally $120 but marked to $80 and There was an extra 20% off so they were only $64.

Good luck

Lara

My DD has been asking for the real thing for a while because I have them. I bought her a couple pairs of fake uggs and she went right thru them. She also had a pair if emus I got on sale and she didn't like the way they fit. I caved this summer and got her a pair from 6pm.com when they were 60% off, still very expensive in my mind ($48), but a whole lot better than full price. She has already started wearing them and LOVES them. I'm glad I was able to get them for her but would never pay full price. Keep watching 6pm, the prices do go down.

My 11 year old DD was excited to get a pair for her birthday. I got them at 6pm.com and the whole thing with shipping was under $48.

For us that was a good deal and we expect them to last a while. :goodvibes

I just got my dd some this year after 2 years of her asking and me getting other brands (including emu, which are great). I wasn't willing to pay $110 for them so I have been searching for a great deal. I ended up getting in on an offer for $50 off $100 purchase at Saks so I got them there.

My dd has also been wearing Uggs since she was 4 (she is 6 1/2 now). I bought them at Journeys for around $80 in Nov and bought a size up. She wore them EVERY day of prek until May or so. Then we took them back out last winter and they fit her great (they stretch a little) so she wore them EVERY day, except gym days. They def look worn now, but she still loves to wear them and for two years I figured they were worth the money.

I did buy her a pair or two of the knock-offs from Target b/c she liked the colors but they wore out so quickly. I pay $70 or so for my sons sneakers and they only last 6 months or so, so I think the Uggs are a great deal.

I did buy dd a pair from 6pm this past summer and will give them to her as soon as the weather turns cool.

Don't know if you have a Journeys Kidz store where you live, but they have pretty good prices on girls Uggs. Here's the link:

Maybe they have mail order too. Good Luck.

my sis bought me a pair of brown Emu boots that I never wore. My feet sweat to much so I dont like the boots. I've had my emus in my closet for 2-3 years brand new. well dd 11 found them and said she wants them and a pair of black ones. She wears a 3-4 and mine are a 7 or 8.

Anyways are the uggs stamped or have a label that everyone can see? How can you tell the brand? If theres no label i might be able to get by with knock offs or emus. I dont think name brand is a big issue at dd's school, atleast i hope not-lol!

How much are Emus? I told dd we will checkout Ross and Marshalls

Last year I got a pair of Uggs for myself through Nordstrom - they will honor a discount if you find them on sale at an authorized dealer. Some website was selling them for 25% off and all I did was call Nordstrom and they honored it and shipped them to me for free. I would never buy my 7 year old a pair though, I must say!

do you have an outlet near you? I got my teen daughter a pair for $70

Thanks for posting this-I just signed up for the kids club.

Also, Justice had their own brand of Uggs last year in different colors if you don't have to have real Uggs.

UGGS are fashion boots, not winter boots. No matter how much water proofing spray you put on them, the snow/slush will soak through. Not to mention that UGGS are meant to be worn barefoot.
They can only be worn outside when it's fresh snow that hasn't started to melt.
EMU boots aren't as expensive at UGGS and are just as good.
We have had both brands in our family and I prefer the EMU's.

I bought my older DD a pair of knock-off''s at JCpenny almost 1 1/2 ago for $15 bucks and they turned out to be really good I did water-proof them, she out grew them this year so I just bought another pair for $9 bucks (on sale:thumbsup2) she is pretty happy and so am I, I've also heard good things about the ones they sell al Costco.
