For those of you who have taken Uber from the Convention Center area or anywhere around there (Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt Place, etc.) about what did you pay? And especially when leaving the park...was the traffic horrendous and did it hike up the fare?

Should I walk thru Grand Californian and get a cab there or will there be cabs readily available at the exit at Harbor? I can cab or Uber just curious. Thanks.

I would never waste my time or money on an Uber from there. As Ashley says, the Toy Story shuttle is right there and is running constantly. You'd probably be at the park already by the time your Uber arrived.

I'd be curious to know what the fee might be as well. Perhaps the OP doesn't want to walk over to the Toy Story lot.

For those interested: It's about a $5-$7 Uber ride.

uberX: $4 uberXL: $7-10 uberPLUS: $10-13 UberBLACK: $15-17 UberSUV:$25

As surprising as it might sound, based on personal experience, not many folks take advantage of Uber around Disneyland. Even during peak times.

Hotbed for Uber activity is Newport Beach / Costa Mesa.

Thanks all. I read sometimes the Toy Story lot isn't open early and sometimes not til Minnie lot fills (no idea if true) and we'll be going for EMH one day. Any truth? I was planning on Toy Story until I heard this, but will definitely Uber at night and not wait for shuttle if lines.

We used UberPlus a few times in Aug to go from our hotel to my parents hotel which was about a mile away and it was around $11.

I wonder if that is because so many people walk due to the proximity. There were a ton of people walking from the Hilton and surrounding hotels when we were there for the half marathon. We cut through the Grand Californian when we wanted to go to Downtown Disney. We walked up Harbor when we were going to the parks.
