Uber from sfb to sog?

Hello! We're flying in to Sanford Airport, and going to Shades of Green resort. So far the cheapest transportation we've been able to find is $158 round trip, and that's with a company that picks up a bunch of people to go to different locations, so our travel time varies. Last time it was over 3 hours to be dropped off. We were considering doing Uber, which we've never used before. So I'm looking for opinions on Uber and some info on about what that trip might cost me. A straight shot to sog might be worth a little price increase. TIA!!!

If you download the app, you can search for your pickup point to see current availability. Then click on Set Pickup Location, and a Fare Estimate button will appear. You can click that and enter your destination.

I just did that for Orlando Sanford Intl. Airport to SOG, and the fare estimate is $42-$54 for UberX, which is the smaller car seating up to 4 riders.

Be careful to not to click the Request button by mistake, or you may be charged a cancellation fee if you don't cancel within 5 minutes.

There are numerous threads about Uber on the Transportation board here, which is near the bottom of the Trip Planning list.

I've never used Uber as a rider myself, but I drive it a few hours a week.
