Uber dropoffs at Contemporary?

We were headed to the MK Tuesday morning (6/5) and were out front of POFQ waiting for our Uber. We planned to be dropped at the Contemporary. The CM out front of POFQ asked where we were going and then told me Uber can't drop off at the Contemporary any more without an ADR or room reservation. I was skeptical, but didn't have time to mess around with it so cancelled the Uber and headed for the bus stop.

I figure there's a good chance that was bad info, but who knows. I couldn't risk being dropped at TTC and having to wait for a ferry or monorail and still make our 8:05 ADR.

Anybody have recent reports on this?

Just got dropped off there twice today. Once for rope drop at MK and just now for a dinner reservation. The security guard did not blink when our driver said it was a drop off and waved us through.

We just did this last Saturday. The security guard asked if it was a drop off or reservation. The driver said reservation and they waved us right through. We just got out and started walking. Nobody at the resort said a word.

Thanks for the reports! Pretty much as I suspected, but I didn't want to take a chance on it. That CM was so adamant that our car would be turned away and sent to the TTC, and I just didn't want to take a chance.

What did the driver tell them? I've never, ever had a guard even ask why we were coming in when the driver told them it was a drop off only. The only time the guard has cared is when we were trying to bring our own vehicle in, to park.
We've had no problems even on NYE.
