Uber at Disney Springs

They will pick you up at the cab stand near Cirque du Soleil.

Does anyone know what the procedure is for Lyft drop offs and pick ups?

I've stopped using Uber because of their unsavory business practices. Lyft worked out great when we stayed at Universal Orlando last March but I have yet to try it at WDW, especially Disney Springs since the remodel & parking garage addition.

Should be the same as with Uber, the Strawberry parking lot. The location at Disney Springs is determined by Disney.

There is also a taxi station in the Strawberry parking lot. Also, Disney has a relationship with Mears Transportation which operates Taxis, DME & DCL Ground Transportation. So, they may be trying to make pickups easier for Mears and harder for their competition.

As I noted earlier, Disney dictates where 3rd party transportation (shuttles, taxis, Uber/Lyft) can drop off and pick up passengers.

I'm so sorry for all the question but even growing up in the city (Philly) I've never been comfortable taking taxis so have so very little experience with them. Is there normally a huge cost difference between between Uber/Lyft and Mears?

In addition to the Strawberry lot, Uber & Lyft can also pick up at the Marketplace, but at the old bus loop, not the taxi station on the map. It's labeled on the map as "Buses to other hotels", near #128. I believe the apps will ask you at which location you want to be picked up; if not, check the location on the map within the app, and change it if you want the other location. If you can't figure out how to change it, you can also phone or text your assigned driver within the app.

Yes, Uber & Lyft are much less costly than Mears taxis, especially if you want a standard 4-rider car.

I can confirm that Uber can pick up at the old bus loop. I was there two days ago and this is where security directed me when I asked about an Uber pick up.
