UA rooms at SSR?

Quick question about universal access rooms at SSR. Does anyone know what kind of configurations there are? Such as - could I get a 2 bdrm that is a UA studio and a regular 1 bdrm? Or will the whole 2 bdrm be UA? My mom will be in a wheelchair for our Oct trip (at least part time wheel chair usage anyway) and I was wondering what options I might encounter.

Also, who might I write/call to find out? I get conflicting answers from MS, should I call SSR? Is there an SSR manager I can e-mail?

Any ideas?

Thanks. I'm never sure where to start! I thought I'd pick the brains of the SSR experts first.

Maybe I'll just call SSR today and see what they say.

Can't answer your specific question as we have only stayed in a H/C GV at SSR. I do believe though that the complete 2br will be H/C. I called SSR directly when I had questions and they always transfered me to the correct person. Your guide may also be of use to you. Mine helped when I could not get a response from SSR when they "first" opened and most CM'S were .

We just got back from SSR in August. We had a dedicated 2br handicapped room. It only had a roll in shower in the master bathroom. The 2nd br had a tub. This was a problem for us becasue my father in law came in early to shower and would wake us up. There are 2 doorways into the bathroom so he did not have to walk thru the room, but we heard him every morning! I am not sure if there is 2br with both baths acces.

It also left the jet tub open to the masterbedroom. So anyone in the bedroom could see the tub. It did not have the shutter seperater like the other rooms.

Hmmm... that's what I was wondering. I called SSR and they transferred me to CRO, which isn't what I needed. I hung up and called MS instead. Rico was very nice and answered my question. I was set up for a dedicated 2 bdrm when I KNOW I requested a lock-off - so we fixed that and now I'm on a waitlist for a lock off. Anyway, he said that it is likely I can get a lock off that is UA on the studio side and non-UA on the 1 bdrm side. Of course, now the waitlist has to come through for any of that to pan out so it may be a moot point.

We'll see!
