Pinochio award..... Hey, maybe not mother of the year, but I'll take it. Okay you two, if you only knew how strict my parents were about lying!!! They may be collectively rolling in their graves . They didn't agree on much, but they agreed there were severe punishments for lying. I think even they would encourage this type though. we shall call it "fibbing".

We ordered it about 1 1/2 - 2 wks ago, but they couldn't deliver it until tomorrow.

I actually logged back on because, as I started to make my way to the mattress path, I realized I had forgotten to call UT/MS about my tickets. So, I had to log onto get the phone #. I did call, but had to leave a message. Hopefully, I will hear back soon.

Thanks. DD#1 really wants to walk in after we are seated. I prefer being the one seated first, but then there is the issue of telling the CM about the 1 short reservation. Maybe dh or I should be the one to be talking to the CM.

We used to get that too. We just started turning the tables. Fortunately we don't know many people who travel to different destination every year. So for those that go to the beach every year, we turn the tables to ask why they go to the beach every year. Isn't that boring? Or boating? or skiing? It works with almost anything. Then we tell them how we have tried something new every time we go. Maybe just a picnic on the sandy beach, or a new ride or show, or the "hot balloon" in DTD. We still get it once in awhile, but most just avoid the subject. And when we get back we don't share alot of details. If they ask, we just reply AWESOME as usual!
I hear Sept. is the best time of year to go now a days, atleast for crowd control.

About Undercover Tourist through Mousesaver.... as you know I left a message today. But, then I decided I was going to email too, since it seems so much more convenient these days. And when I did I saw a sentence under customer satisfaction about how they always answer the phones, no recording. Okay, I admit it... I got scared. What the heck, I just called their number and got a recording. Geesh, watch I'll have hit some wrong link & gone to some scam company. I stated in the email about the sentence on the website, and how I had just left a message.

Well, let me tell you..... These people are amazing! I was unable to get to my phone, but heard it ringing. As soon as I was able to get to it (maybe a couple of minutes) it began to ring again. It was Dan from Undercover Tourist. He immediately eased my fears. He said someone had called earlier as well. (I had not even gotten a chance to listen to the voice mail). He advised me my order had been sent out of Friday. When I did finally listen to the voice mail, she had left a message saying the same thing. Also, they both apologized for the recording picking up. (really wasn't a big deal until I read they don't have that. Then I ) They explained that the are exceptionally busy do to the price increase, and them selling them still at the old price. I certainly understand that.
So, I pranced to my mailbox today, and what to my wondering eyes should appear? You guessed it, my tickets!!!! YAY! Now, I feel totally at ease. I am going to order DS#1's ticket through them as well. Oh, they both also, mentioned about me ordering the rental car through them. They were both very pleasant. I very much appreciated speaking with Dan.

So, thank you all for putting up with my frantic worrying. I am not even going to worry about them being legit, or even the car being reserved for us. (okay, well I will put it out of my mind for now. what can I say I am a worrier about plans.)

I don't blame you for being a little concerned about the tickets. Especially after we all said how prompt they were! I'm glad you have them in hand and that they made you feel so much better about the transportation and all.

Yes, you probably should be at BOG first due to the extra person. I know they will bend over backwards to make this happen for you if at all possible. I really hope it works out. Just make sure the birthday girl doesn't hear the convo...I know you're already on top of that.

Yes, September is wonderful as far as crowd levels. It's pretty hot, but we break up the day going back to our resort for a swim and some down time before going to dinner and more fun in the parks. Toy Story Mania and Soarin still have long waits, but most everything else is walk on or 5 to 10 minutes wait. Park hours are shorter, but you get so much done with the low crowds, that doesn't really matter.

As far as apologizing for worrying about your tickets, having your own PTR means never having to say you're sorry! And just between you and me, I think one of your DIS meet trio has more than just a little Just sayin'...

Sounds nice. I love Oct. & Nov. Especially when we leave temps of 40's here & get to Orlando & the temps are 80's. I have heard the lines are non existant in early Sept. sounds like that is pretty close to true. TSM & Soarin, what kind of waits?

Well, It was suggested to me I continue with my PTR, I have had enough of a break.

There is alot of stuff going on in the background, but I can't share as it is surprise stuff. sorry. I promise I am keeping a list & will share on the TR upon our return.

However, there are little things I can share.

I know I mentioned the limo. I believe I told you I am using our lottery winnings from our anniversary & my birthday to pay the way to the airport, and DH's bonus for the way home. So, we counted up out lottery tickets. Here is the break down:

Limo from our home, to the airport = $156.90 (more than I originally thought. I hadn't realized the tip wasn't initially included in the price... ) The break down is like this:
Base Charges: 119.00
Ted Williams Commercial
Toll: 5.25
Gratuity: 23.80
Fuel Charge: 8.93
TOTAL: $156.98

Which I've decided is still worth it.

The lottery total is: $129. I think that is pretty darn good. Thank you to all my loved ones for helping make this magic happen.

The return limo trip is:
Base Charges: 119.00
Ted Williams Commercial
Toll: 5.25
Airport Fees: 3.50
Gratuity: 23.80
Fuel Charge: 8.93
TOTAL: $160.48

It is a little more, but DH's bonus will easily cover that.

So, one expense is already taken care of. We booked the limo & it is paid for.
So, the budget goes something like this now:

I don't have the exact amounts at my finger tips, but it goes something like this:

DD & DDBF tickets round trip paid for by DDBF.
me, DH, DD#2 flight down paid for primarily through credits & JB TB points. end out of pkt was ander $100 if I recall correctly
return flights $about $330.
DS1 = I think $280 (but has $50. SW credit so, these flights = $230)
DS2 = $220. r/t Which he paid for himself

So, DH & my out of pkt for airfare has been $550. (BUT, DS2 is expected to pay us back for 1 of the ways.)
We will say $550 since we haven't seen the pay back yet.


tickets to parks: DH,me, DD2 & DS2 have AP's so I consider that free for this trip.
DD & DDBF = $756. (DDBF will pay us back his portion & has told DD he will pay her ticket as her college graduation gift. We have not decided if we will absorb our kids park tickets or not. If financially we can. then we will)
DS1 = $350. (he is under the impression he is to pay us back for this. But, if we can absorb this we will)

Now, as you can see DD#2 is very fiscally responsible and pays his own way. However, we just lent him money to purchase a few large electronic devices he wanted so, IF we absorb the cost of the other two's passes, we will absorb his debt as well. Time will see how well I do with my savings account.


Limo = apprx. $317. both ways
air total $1260 r/t 6people
passes apprx. $723.
lodging - apprx $1500.
food - we are estimating if we use the TIW card, food will cost us apprx.
$2500. Now remember that is for 6-7 people, for most of the trip. There will be some meals that not all of us will eat together, each of the older kids will be responsible for paying for their own meals at that time. And there will be a couple IHOP & Chix-filets in there.

The only other officially planned activity is for DD to go to the Sandcastle club, and us to go to JellyRolls, which the older kids will pay their own way for. I do however expect to pay for several dole whips along the way. The good thing about the Main Street bakery being a starbucks now is that I will save money not buying my cookie/ice cream sandwiches. Which really is not a good thing at all.

So, I have finished some of my DIY projects. I still have to finish a couple & laminate them. Then I can take some pictures & post. Also, I have bought a couple of goodies for the goodie bags. One of which I am very excited about. Can't wait to share it with you all. Then again, maybe you all have already seen these in your areas.

I bought DD some very breezy clothes today. Things that will hopefully be nice & cool for our trip.

Oh, and I went to Target today, so we know what that means. .... Disney gift cards. I was so excited to get more cards with the 5% Red Card discount. Everything was going along great. I got some good deals on DD's clothes. Some couponing stuff, some lawn furniture that was on sale. So, when we got to the register and the total was closer to $500. than $100. So, this will have to be considered much of DD's back to school clothes as well. Well, Dh was happy because the 5% would pay for one of the lawn chairs we bought. Excellent he was starting to see the profit from buying the Disney cards at Target. He was catching on. Right up until.... I couldn't remember my pin and was locked out of my Red Card. I THOUGHT I knew the pin so I put it in 2x before trying another number....fail. So we didn't get our 5%. But, they said I could call, get the number, then bring the reciept back & they will give me back the 5%. Maybe I'll pick up more gift cards when I go back for my 5%.

Off to bed. I need to resolve, it has been a busy day.

I can see that happening with the PIN, its ridiculous how many passwords, PINS, etc we have ruling our lives Gets me confused all the time at least you'll get the money back, thats a great thing Lawn furniture boy do we need that its on the list ..how's that new mattress? That is the next BIG thing I will be saving for ours is killing me Hi ! & Love to family
