Actually the mattress is not that great. We think we are going to return it. Long story but pressure points on mattress get very hot. Weird I thought it was just me... You know THAT age. But dh is having the same problem. Plus dh weights about 100 lbs more than me, I am finding I roll toward him. Maybe not firm emough?? So that is on the list of things to do this week. Could it be that we are expecting a nights sleep like when we are in Disney? ;}

I like him more & more good guy....thats another thing on my wish list but it keeps getting pushed further & further down on the list need a couple hundred right now for heart worm prevention for the fur kids...can't put that one off though the mosquitoes are out in full force...not near WDW but we have a swamp right in the middle of our property see you don't have to feel dumb, I did NOT do my homework about that when I found our place talk about dumb

I ate at BoG in May. The check in is a bit crazy. Access to the actual restaurant is VERY controlled. You check in way out front before the bridge. I would go up alone-have DH try to take your DD further up the bridge away from you. I think it would work best if you sit first-we had to wait on the bridge a while before we were seated. You cannot get past the big gate without them being ready to seat you. Maybe you could text the others after you're seated and they could come right over. I just don't know how you could get the others in before you without your DD seeing them given how tightly they try to controll everything there.


Return the mattress!!!!!!!!! I have been regretting not returning mine for the last 10 years!




I was sadden to read about your brother on D trip report. I lost my brother in Dec 09. He was hit while walking(by someone who knew him). He had on a professional quality reflective vest-how can you not see that? I lost my Dad to a heart attack when I was 6 so my brother was like a Dad. I still miss him so.

Those are the hand made ones like they had at Main St Bakery NOT the prepackaged ones. The one I'm not sure about is the one in Italy-sounds handmade but I don't know how big it is.

ohhhh, you made me so happy. I hope they are as good. Of course now I have to diet extra good to make room for those scrumptious treats! Not just any ice cream cookie sandwich....Toll House cookie sandwiches!

First I must say, ... I told you I couldn't figure out how to use my new phone very well... So, I didn't comment I did because I found them more important, but because I only saw those from my phone.

yes, I think you will get along well with him. He has a wonderful (although sometimes off color) sense of humor. He is a great guy. About the swamp....I'm sure it looked beautiful when you saw it. We are just getting the mosquitoes up around here now. [/B Yes, the heart worm pills are important. ]

We are taking off the mattress protector tonight. We will see how we like it then. If we still aren't in love with it...it is going back. I'm sorry you don't like your mattress.

Sorry to hear about your brother and your Dad. That must have been very hard for you. I still miss my brother too, but the hardest of all was seeing my parents, especially my Mom, slowly go down hill because of her grief. I find strength in knowing my brother was finally the man he had tried so long to become. I figure God took him home when his job was finished here. That is just MY opinion, I don't mean to offend anyone.


So, you remember my Target trip from the other day? The one when I forgot my pin number? Well, we went back today.....

So, remember my severe fear of snakes.... well I am sitting in my bed, a/c on, laptop on...well...my lap, finally having your pet snake out of my head and WHAMMY you remind me of your loving slithering snake. WHY OH WHY Ruthie? There have been stories around here of people whos real pet snakes have escaped and taken up residence in other peoples homes, grown to be enormous and caved in ceilings! you know like, pythons, and boa's. I have told my family on several occasions if I ever suspect there is a snake in my home, I am outta here. As in, see you later. not coming back. I love my dear departed brother, but he did a number on me about snakes. YIKES!!! Ruthie, you need to get a new mattress. They didn't say anything about keeping a mattress protector on it. Just don't take off the tags off the mattress. It is a pad we bought seperately. Hopefully, we will like it better tonight, but I don't have my hopes up having sat in it now for a few minutes.

About Target...

DH & I got there about 10:30am. Walked right up to the courtesy desk. She looked at the receipt as she asked us if this was a transaction from yesterday. We said no Sunday. She said because it's been more than 24hrs & the total is more than a certain amount she needed a manager. We were fine with that, BUT the manager was on her 15min. break. We offered to go walk around the store. I mean, of course there must be SOMETHING we need. We walked and ended up in the lawn furniture section, where we had just purchased 2 deck chairs that were on clearance. Welllllll,,,,, they were an additional clearance. So, when we went back to the courtesy desk we mentioned that. First she said, oh, they were on clearance we don't match those prices. So, I said, well do you take returns on clearance items. I figured, we hadn't even taken the packaging off them yet, I'd return them & buy them again at the discounted price. She gave me the refund of the difference. A total of $23! Plus the 5% from the purchase the other day. So, what do you think we did? You betcha! We went back and bought another $50. gift card!! Hey, what the heck, we have to pay for our meals anyway as we're not on a dining plan. Why not use $50. gc's instead of $50 bills...saving 5% while doing it???

Side note... tomorrow is DD's (the little one's ) last day of school. Well, DD#1 came home from work tonight & asked if we were doing anything special. I said no, she had had her end of school pool/icecream party today. Why was she asking? She replied, well, I thought since Dad has the day off....

what? Dad has the day off? turning to DH on my other side..."you have the day off". Well.... DD let the cat out of the bag. DH was planning on surprising me & DD (the little one). Isn't that sweet? I am so happy. He usually has Tuesdays off and that is it. So, to have 2 days in a row!!! I have to admit, he has been taking a couple days recently besides his Tuesday. Even last SUNDAY! Which is tough, because none of the other managers have wanted it. I have no idea what we are going to do, BUT... I did recently hear there is a Disney outlet about 1 hour away from us.....


So, if I'm not on tomorrow, you all know why...

Doing a quick fly by just to say hello and I haven't abandoned you. I jump on as I can in between my visits with my daughter and granddaughters. They leave to go back to Colorado on Sunday.

I'm glad your plans are continuing to be a secret. That is going to be so much fun! Great savings at Target too. I get my GC at a local grocery store that gives 10cents off per gallon of gas with every $50, so I have crunched the numbers and I save more with my gas purchase than with the Target card. Sometimes they give 20 cents on GC, so I try to wait for that.

I'm also anxious to see your handiwork when you get a chance to post it. Getting used to a new phone is a process for sure. I've had my iphone for a little over a year and still haven't figured out everything.

ETA: The waits for Soarin and Toy Story are 60 minutes or so, but using fast pass eliminates your wait. Toy Story fp runs out, but not as early as the busy days.
