We are trying to decide for DD 21st birthday what to do.
we have 2 options
3 adults
Vegas or Disney.

I have priced it out Vegas for 5 nights - hotel, air, show, dining about 3500.00 this does not coverage $$ for gambling.

other option Disney for 7 nights - hotel ( looking at AKL), park hopper w/ water park, dining plan or OOP 4500.00!!! If we can get free dining or a real good rate or package. It might make it more affordable.

Any suggestions on deals or past typical offers for the time of year we are going?

Disney's deals are dependent upon expected attendance. As the economy recovers, Disney could discontinue all deals and discounts.

Free dining has never been offered in April or May. Disney only offers discounts and deals like free dining when they're expecting low occupancy in their resorts, and that's not typically one of the slower seasons.

Free dining has been offered in August/September for the past few years, and for some parts of December for the last couple of years.

I'm not sure how common other discounts have been for that time of year, so I'll move this over to the Codes and Rates board, where the discount experts hang out. :)

There has never been free dining offered in April/May (been going that time of year 20 years now). No need to offer it as it's a popular time to go. Moderate crowd levels and great weather. Free dining promotions are only offered to fill rooms during times when attendance is lower (hurricane season).
