Typhoon Lagoon or second day at MK?

We live near WI the water park capital of the world. We are depating whether or not we should spend two days at MK or spend one of those days at Typhoon Lagoon. We will be staying at Disney for 6 days in mid May. As of right now we have two days of MK planned due to not having a full day in the park. One day we have an early character breakfast planned at th Poly, MK in the am and afternoon with a early ADR at BOG, and the Pirates Pals firework cruise in the evening. Our second day at MK which will be later in the week,we have the dinner show at the Poly planned but will spend the am and afternoon at MK. I was wondering if that day we should go to TL instead while keeping our evening plans for the Poly dinner show. As stated we live close to WI Dells and visit there yearly. The one difference iss in TL is the shark reef which is really cool but may scare the boys. We have never been to TL and this is the boys first trip to WDW. Any opionions out there?

MK for sure!

Typhoon is great and a must do for us but we've never been to the Dells and have no experience with other water parks. 2 MK days and you still won't get everything done.
