Typhoon Lagoon MM, Easy to get into?

We scored tickets to Typhoon Lagoon MM and much to my surprise it was a very easy and smooth process. We got into the queue after about a minute, registered and were on our way.

Is this a typical MM experience or perhaps Typhoon Lagoon isnt as popular? We did not have a hotel reservation so this was during general registration so I am just wondering if we got lucky or if we can expect such a smooth process in the future?

I think you got lucky. This happened to us for Epcot in February. We got in during general registration after about a minute. We’ve been to typhoon lagoon MM, and the ticket process took just as long for us as it usually does. But… I have learned that I am generally wrong about MM lol. Often times when I think it will be easy, I don’t end up with tickets. And then other times, when it seems like a long shot, I get tickets within minutes. I just think it’s a total crap shoot. TL MM is a lot of fun, have a great time!

How long have some of the other ones taken you? I was expecting it to be like boogie boogie bash where it took hours and crashed so I almost didnt even try because I had a doctor appointment 30 mins later and I was just so impressed that I got to do it and go to my appointment with no issue lol! The typhoon lagoon one really appealled to us, it sounds different, and fun for the summer!

Its for sure less popular than the theme park options, but also I think it really depends on how the seasons are set up since you can only register for 1 per season. But in general I have not seen anyone say they couldn't get TL in any of the registrations I have followed.

Im sure it still sold out though. So still special. Ive heard good things from some that have went to previous ones.
