Typhoon Lagoon Cabana - How far in advance to book?

We are going the 9-18th of July and one of the days we are planning on going to Typhoon Lagoon. We want to rent a cabana and wondering how far in advance I have to book.

Also - what happens if it rains or starts lightening? That is my biggest fear. You spend $300+ dollars on this cabana and they close the place down because of a bad storm. Are you out that money then or would they switch you to another day?

Great Idea! So I went ahead and grabbed me one for the end of July - $345.06. If you cancel 24 hours or more in advance you get a refund. If they close the park because of weather you get a refund.

Book now! At this time of the year, the cabanas are almost always sold out for the day before the park opens.

We booked a few weeks ago for our July trip. I asked for a cabana near the wave pool and she said she would note it.

I'm thinking you'd be out the money. I believe when I booked a pool cabana they told me I paid rain or shine.

Book now, I encountered full days for our upcoming trip in early July a few weeks ago.

We had cabana #9 and the ladies in the shop told us it is a favorite. It is beside the wave pool and is a little bigger and more private than the others. We enjoyed the cabana for 8 hours and only left because we had a special dinner planned. Everyone agrees that we won't do the water parks without a cabana again. Enjoy!!

Agree! We've had one 2 years in a row, we had Cabana #10. Great location!
