Two weeks post-trip, I'm still craving Mickey beignets with berry dipping sauce!

I'm two weeks post-trip, and still craving some of my new food-finds at DLR. Loved the following - all new to me:
  • Mickey beignets with berry dipping sauce (Café Orleans) - omigosh! Like the best jelly donut in the entire world. I had to stop myself from eating all six, because I thought I'd get a stomach-ache.
  • The wonderful blackened chicken salad at Café Orleans. Yummy chicken, fresh oranges, candied pecans, and a wonderful citrus-cilantro dressing. So glad I didn't get the Monte Cristo (it was too hot out - 95 degrees) especially since it helped me save room for beignets!
  • Happened onto a last-minute table at Catal. What fabulous food! I had the hangar steak, with roasted apples and pearl onions, with a side of au gratin potatoes. Yum.

(PS - now I'm craving a jelly donut! :))
