1) I cannot get on disney.go.com, disneyworld.com, or dvcmember.com. Can someone try it and see if it is just me? TIA!!

2) Doesn't DVC have 30 days, and ONLY 30 days to decide ROFR? I thought I remembered reading that if you have NOT heard in 30 days, you can proceed with the sale. I just got a pm from someone who has been in ROFR for over 30 days (verified via her agent). If someone knows where this is written, please let me know.

Thanks so much!!

1. I have no problem getting onto the sites.

2. Disney has up until the proposed date of closing in the contract of sale to exercise its ROFR. That 30 day rule is that the seller must give notice to Disney at least 30 days before the closing date. In other words, it can work out to 30 days max to exercise ROFR if seller gives notice right at 30 days before closing date. Usually though notice is given more than 30 days before closing date.

Hi Beca,

It is not specifically in my contract, but I was told by TSS yesterday that Disney had "four weeks." I was also told that in many cases they decide in two weeks, and in others they take "...the full four weeks."

In the case of my particular contract, which is what we were discussing specifically, that is about two weeks ahead of the scheduled closing.

Just because someone told me that, however, does not mean the information is correct. That buyer should call their realtor and find out for sure.

To get on the DVC site, I go to the Member's clubhouse in my e-mail, and I click on the link there. I started doing that when I couldn't get on using the Disney site.
