Two Trips, One Memory Maker, Hoping for Zero Errors??

I need some advice from wise Disfolks.

My hubby and I are taking a no kids long weekend trip next week (I can't believe it's almost here!), and we also have a family trip with our two kiddos next June booked. As I was conversing with our TA about our trip next week, she let me know to watch out for a problem with Memory Maker.

Here's the situation: We booked our June trip several months ago, and we WANT memory maker for the June trip. It was purchased as part of the June trip when we booked. We recently booked our no kid trip, well after the June trip was booked, and we DO NOT want Memory Maker for this trip.

How do we make sure the Memory Maker doesn't get used accidentally for the trip we take next week? The TA (who is awesome) told us to watch out to make sure there isn't a mix up. We are planning on checking in, in person, and not bypassing the front desk when we arrive. Do I simply mention this to the CM that checks us in? Or, should I call beforehand? Or, is there something else I need to do?

I also peeked in our MDE, and I didn't see the Memory Maker attached to either trip, earlier this week. I brought this to my TA's attention, and she says she sees it attached to our June trip, and sent me a screen shot of what she sees. I have kept this screen shot to show CMs if I need to. Should I be worried?

Any advice would be awesome! Thanks so much!

I *believe* if you bought it with your June trip you shouldn't be able to use it next week, if it's part of a package. This is based on what I was told when we canceled a package but had purchased MM separately.

If you don't plan to do anything with MM or PP this trip there shouldn't be a problem. If you don't activate MM or download any photos your MM should be safe for June.

Good luck!

If you bought Memory Maker by itself (IE not one of the special tickets that included Memory Maker) it can sit in your account for as long as you want. It will become active only when you go and start downloading pictures. So as long as your don't download pictures, nothing will happen to Memory Maker and it will just sit there idle. If you do decide to pay to download one of the pictures from your first trip, I'd suggest calling Photopass first, and making sure it won't screw it up. (It shouldn't I believe you still have to tell it to activate Memory Maker when you do the downloads, but I have an AP so I'm not 100% sure) But simply taking the trip won't affect it at all.
