Two service requests in two days

I'm starting to feel like the problem renter. Saturday night I noticed a giant flood under my sink in the kitchen. I had to call after hours maintenance who determined I had a hole in my garage disposal, and it needed replaced. This morning, I now have a leaking toilet. They just replaced the wax ring less than a year and a half ago. Hopefully it will be a quick fix.

Of course it all happens right after I resign my lease.

I'm a landlord. It seems to me that repairs come in groups, and never one off. So, when I get the call from our property manager that "x" is a problem, I laugh and say "what else needs fixing?"

Don't stress about it. It's not like you are deliberately wrecking things! I appreciate tenants who are proactive and IMMEDIATELY report problems.

Don't stress about it. It's not like you are deliberately wrecking things! I appreciate tenants who are proactive and IMMEDIATELY report problems.

Absolutely - massive cosmetic and structural damage can occur from running malfunctioning systems - most drastically if leaking water is involved. Our Warranty Contracts actually require due care and attention on the part of a homeowner to report or further coverage may be void.

If you can't handle these minor issues don't ever buy a house , stuff happens things break at least your landlord will make the repairs.

That must be one big disposal to be able to get rid of a garage. LOL
