Two restaurant questions ...

Finally going to make my PS reservations tomorrow morning, but before then I had two questions to ask:

- How early/late will most resort restaurants accept PS reservations? Is 5:00 PM too early? Is 9:00 PM too late?

- How long would an average dinner (appetizer, main course, dessert, provided we can save enough room!) take at California Grill? We're planning on making a PS there before MNSSHP on 10/3, but I want to be sure to leave enough time to enjoy the meal, but also be able to get back to MK by 7:00 for the beginning of the party.

Many of the WDW restaurants open for dinner at 5:00, some may be at 5:30 and I believe most will serve dinner till 9-9:30.

Depending on what time you make your PS for depends on how long it will take you at CG. If you make them for 5 something I would predict about an hr to an hr and a half. I would go for the earliest PS you can get there to get to MK by 7. It also depends on the what night it is. Weekends are very busy at CG for the locals. We've waited a half hr or longer with PS on a Friday night, but that was for 7:30 PS.

I think it varies just a little bit on the restaurant and the season but in general I think most restaurants will take a 5 p.m. p.s. and I know I've been offered p.s. even after 9 p.m. I agree to get a p.s for 5 ish for Ca. Grill in order to not have to be rushed to get to the MK. IMO an hour an a half is a proper amount of time to allow. It depends on how many courses you order, wine, etc. but that should give you sufficient time to enjoy your meal and then get to the MK. Have a great time! (And keep the pork tenderloin in mind at the CG yum!)
