Just two quick questions about Whispering Canyon Cafe, please...

1. Can you order the "all you care to eat" Canyon Skillet on the Ding Plan?

2. Which meal (Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner) is the best for the "full effect" of the place?? (asking for more straws, more ketchup, etc)

I cannot answer the first question however I can answer the second question. We were there last June and had lunch and dinner there. They seemed to be about the same as far as the ketchup and straw stuff goes. I recommend the latest lunch you can. It is cheaper (if your not using the dining plan), less crowded and you get the same "show".

Yes, you can order the all you can eat skillet on the dining plan. We went for dinner, and they were all out goofy while we were there.

And you also get an appetizer on the dining plan, even when ordering the all-you-care-to-eat skillet dinner?? :cool1:

No, you do not get to order an appetizer since the skillet comes with the salad. The greens with vinegarette dressing counts as your appetizer.

We loved Whispering Canyon !!
YES, all you can eat Skillet is Included on Dining Plan....
AND, we ate there once for Lunch and once for Dinner and Both Times we had the Same Upbeat, Fun, Silly Entertainment.....
BUT....make sure you tell them you want to be seated right in the middle of the action..there are some tables that are off the beaten path and really do not get the full effect of the goofy-ness !!! :tink:

We were at the Whispering Canyon in October and our group went for a late lunch...it was first visit and my friends made sure I asked for ketchup...we only got the regular amount of ketchup...no extras...when my friends expressed their displeasure as it was my first visit...our server said they only do the "fun" stuff at breakfast or dinner because too many people have fries at lunch to do it.

Yes, you can get the skillet on the DP and No, you don't get an appetizer - but you do get a dessert. You can order the all-you-can-eat skillet for one person, and the other person could order an appetizer with their meal! :thumbsup2

I've only done lunch and dinner at WC. During busier times, they are pretty much the same. In slower months, go for dinner!

Have a great trip!
:goodvibes

Our server in December told us that there are more antics at Supper and Breakfast then at Lunch. My daughter asked for Ketchup just to make sure.

I will second that.
I have been twice, the first time we were in the 'main' dinning room, could see all the action, our waiter was attentinve and a part of the show. It was a great time especially with the kids.
Last Ocotober, on my second visit (with a different set of folks), we were out in no where land. So, we couldn't see the goings on the resturant. Additionally, I think that our waiter had such a distance to go to get drinks and to the kitchen (or possibly the rest of his section) he didn't have time to 'give us the treatment'. I was pretty disappointed.
