Well my WDW tickets came in 10 days late!!!! I missed out on getting the prime fastpasses for half my trip next month.

For my Magic Kingdom day, I do see fast passes available for Seven Dwarfs but for 10:50 p.m. and later. My question is, I understand that I can get my 4th, 5th, 6th FP after my third fastpass has been used, right? So I should take such a late fast pass for 10:50 p.m, right?

My second question for the MNSSHP, will there be fast passes selections/availability too?

Thank you.

We try to avoid taking such late FP for that reason.

For the party, you can use that ticket to book FP from 4-7 (but really only until 6:30), but no FP are available during the party hours.

Do not take a fastness at 10:50 pm if you want to get a 4th (or more) additional fast passes. You will only be allowed additional fast passes when all 3 original ones are used.

There are not fast passes during the official party time 7:00-12:00. The lines should be shorter so they aren't needed. You can enter the party at 4:00 that afternoon with your party ticket and make 3 fast pass reservations during the time before the party starts at 7:00.

For SDMT try looking for single fp for it vs your whole party. You can then look for additional fp with overlapping times.

Can't tell if you realize this from your comment but just in case, you can only make one additional FP after your third, then once you use that one, you can make another, and so on. To say it another way, after you use your third FP (or the time window has passed), you can then book your fourth. After you use your fourth (or the time window has passed), you can then book your fifth, etc, etc. I agree with the PP, booking a really late FP like that limits your flexibility a bit during the day, depending on what your plan is.

thank you....this FP plus is all new to me.

Oh, please another question......if i take a fast pass for a performance like Beauty and the Beast, does the fast pass guarantee me a great view of the show, like front and center?

Also one more comment, I'm assuming from your question you're going to a MNSSHP. If you're having trouble getting a 7DMT FP during the day at a reasonable time, I'd plan to ride it during the party, later in the night. Line will be much much lower, and with no FP distribution, the standby line moves reasonably well. We rode twice at the party last Sunday and waited maybe 10-15 minutes each. Note it was an early September party with pretty light crowds. Oct parties will likely be heavier. Good luck!

No.

Beauty and the beast, Indiana Jones, Festival of the lion king, Nemo..it lets you get in usually a couple minutes before standby. It doesn't guarantee you anything so generally FP's for shows are wastes

I agree with everything EXCEPT "Nemo" ("Finding Nemo the Musical" at DAK.)
For that show, FP+ is a positive advantage.
Guests with a FP+ are allowed entry into an empty theater about 30 minutes before show time.
Those guests can choose from ANY seat in the house and can pick whichever area they
find preferable.
After the FP+ guests have been seated (at a time closer to show-time) they allow regular standby guests to enter and find whatever seating is left unoccupied.

Also, a Fantasmic! FP+ can be valuable.

What a FP+ for F! offers is more CHOICE in seating.

If you DO get a F! FP+, you can choose to sit in either the FP section (virtually the entire left half of the theater) or the Standby section (virtually the entire right half of the theater.)
So, whatever section has the better seating at the time you arrive, you can go there.
Without a FP, you can only choose a seat in the Standby section.

There is a very good chance that you can get a FP+ for F! as a 4th or 5th FP of the day because they issue SO MANY of them (enough to cover nearly the entire left half of the seating.) On many nights, it is possible that you can gat a FP+ for F! as you are walking to the theater.

As to when to arrive at the theater, I'd get to there 45-60 minutes before the show-time.
Even with a FP or Dining Pkg. reservation, don't wait too late.
On busy nights, the CMs can stop holding the reserved sections within 20-30 minutes before show-time, and turn over any available seats to waiting walk-in guests.

It looks like you can only book fastpasses at the same park in one day. Once you use your third fast pass, can you then book the fourth at a different park?

What time do the Fast Pass open on the 30 day ahead (or 60 for those onsite) ... 6 am?

Just the most minor of quibbles:

It would be more accurate to say "7AM ET" (for "Eastern Time.")
(Eastern Standard Time is specifically for the duration of the year
that is not in Daylight Saving Time (or, in this case, "Eastern Daylight Time.")
"EST" also indicates the "real time in the Eastern zone." Time that is not adjusted for Daylight Saving Time.

Like I said, it is the most minor kind of clarification, but those two kinds of time are very specific.

Ok, so it should be 7 am whatever the local clocks say. So they release fastpasses at 7 am but reservations at 6 am? I wonder why the difference.

Once we have used the first 3 fastpasses, is it possible to get another fastpass from a diferent park at a kiosk or must we use our phone?

Thanks. Are there any tricks to creating fastpasses on your phone within the park? We are not staying onsite.
