Two parks w/out hopper?

Is it possible to go to two parks in one day without a park hopper? Would it just count as two days, or would the ticket not work since it was already used once that day?

No you can't go to two parks in one day without a hopper. It wouldn't work at the second park since it was used that day.

If that was the case then no one would spend the extra for park hopping ;)

I think the question was if someone had a two day ticket and was only going to be there one day, could she use a ticket for one park, which would count as one day, and if she wanted to go to another park on the same day, use the next day's ticket. So if she had a two day ticket, could she use both days on the same day and then have no ticket for the second day.

Is this right? I don't know the answer, but I would think it would be much cheaper to have the hopper for the day.

Cobbler is correct. You can not use more than one theme park ticket per day. If you do not have the hopping option and you go to one park for the morning and try to go to a different park at night it will deny you access. You can go in and out of the park you used it at first, but you can not enter any other parks. Each ticket is seperate and would need to be used on different days.

That's the question Cobbler answered.

Nope, think of your ticket as admission to the parks on X# of days rather than just X# of admissions. With a one park per day ticket, once you use the ticket at the turnstyles your ticket will be "tagged" to you and that park, only you can use it for re-admission and only to that park.

If you want to park hop, you have to buy the park hopper option.

This is a quesiton that gets asked and answered 3 or more times a day here, perhaps a sticky is in order?

This seems to be the new most popular question on the theme parks board.

That's what I thought, I was just curious. Thanks!

I'm confused then (nothing new). I thought that Cobbler answered whether the same day ticket could be used for a second park on the same day. It is why the other poster mentioned that in that case nobody would buy park hopper. So I thought the question was whether two separate day tickets could be used on the same day. It would be considerably more expensive than just buying a park hopper. The only reason I can see for using two days of tickets on one day would be if they were expiring and the user wouldn't be there to use it the next day.

But I think I understand now that the answer was that no, you cannot use another day's ticket on a day that you have already used a ticket. Do I have that right?

If you are asking if one person can use 2 separate one day tickets at separate parks on the same day, the answer is Yes. You can't use a mutliple day ticket at two different parks, unless it is a hopper. But if you have 2 separate tickets, you can go to 2 parks with them. May be a waste of money but can be done.
