two parking permits at the Poly

DH and I decided that we will need to take separate cars when we drive to WDW. Two reasons. 1.) if a hurricane threatens LA, he has to get back to do his duty and then evacuate and 2.) in case we decide to visit with my family longer than he his able to take off. I have the summers off, he doesn't. Can we get two parking permits at the Poly since we only have one room? If not we will need to rethink this out...

No problem. Just did this this past week. DD is currently participating in the WDW college program so she has her car plus we rented a minivan. DD checked in early (she stayed with us for the week) and asked for 2 parking permits.

when you are at the front desk checking in - ask for another parking permit - they will give it you then.

It's fairly common. You can have two separate couples sharing one standard room and driving from different places.

Guest parking spaces even out. For every extra parking space taken, there's one not being used because the guests arrived via Magical Express.

Just a thought, but why not ride together and then your DH can rent a car from Disney if he needs to drive home. That will save some money if you don't need to seperate and then you can get an on property rental. Just a thought... Two trips worth of gas would be a major hit unless gas prices stay down like they are now...

I would guess that he wouldnt be coming back, and dropping a rental car off a few states away would be $$$. OR if he took the car and she had the rental, how does she get home??
