1. Does MS shut down right at 7:00, when FW closes? We're going on Dec. 27, and I would like to catch it in the late afternoon or evening (following the advice of many on this board who say that when they have ridden it early, they were disoriented for several hours afterwards).

2. When should I check for MS FastPasses for a return time of 6:00ish (assuming MS shuts down at 7:00)? Anybody been there with large crowds lately and seen the FP return times? (I'm thinking before noon?)

Thanks, Art

Not all attractions in Future World shut down at 7 pm. I believe Test Track Spaceship Earth and now Mission: Space stay open until park closing. I'm not sure about the Fastpass question, but depending on what time of year you go, I don't believe you will need one. MS is not as popular as Test Track. You can either take advantage of the singles line, or just wait in the Standby line, which we've never seen over 15 minutes. Of course, during holidays, your mileage may vary!

I rode Mission space at about 7 o'clock a couple of weeks ago -- walked right on as a single, and the actual line wasn't more than 10-15 people at that time of night.

I did notice a sign the day we were leaving saying that Test Track and Mission Space (and Spaceship Earth) were open until 9, I believe. It was a little sandwich board parked at the entrance of IMAGINATION, so it may not be a daily occurrence, but something they do regularly.

The day I rode was Sun or Mon, the day I saw the sign was a Sat.

Lines for MS can get way over 15 minutes. I was at Epcot last Saturday. We arrived at MS around 10 am and the wait was 60 minutes. We got FP that were for about 2 hours later. (in between we had time to do Test Track and Living Seas) When we returned, the stand-by wait was 45 minutes. But we walked right on w/our FP. We didn't really go back by it the rest of the day to see what the lines were like later on.

We found almost no lines at Futureworld after the dinner hour. Everyone else was in the World SHowcase eating dinner and enjoying the Food and Wine Festival. Mission Space was open until 9.

I went on Sunday (10th) and it was open until 9pm, but the shops, food in the area closed at 7pm... (other than MS/TT stores). Only 10 minute wait at 7:30pm... and yes it did make me a little funny feeling for most of the day after, not motion sick, but just a little funny feeling in my head (like mild mild motion sickness)... although the ride and right after I didn't feel it... TT/MS/SE and one other are open unti park closing, not 7pm...will report again after trip this sun/mon, when we get our season's pass... yahoo!!! :Pinkbounc :bounce:
