I get their noble Grand Challenge, but why the commando mission during peak tourist season during the holidays . . . I think a January early February visit might have made it easier for them . . . but perhaps that would have made it too easy for them.

During non-peak times there is often at least one ride down for refurb, making it impossible to complete their challenge.

I watched the video they made last year and felt bummed for them when they couldn't finish because of rain keeping them off Astro Orbiter. Awesome they did it this year. I'm interested in trying this challenge someday, just need to find someone who would be willing to try with me and make sure it's a day where no rides are down for refurbishment.

OMG….I'm less than 5 mins into the video and I had to come back here to tell you how I'm already on the edge of my seat and panicking for these guys! Fun video but I'm letting myself get all worked up on my supposedly relaxing Saturday morning off from work. Lol

Very true. Summer and holiday season tend to have no refurbs so that would be a great time to try this challenge and accomplish it.

It must be heartbreaking to get so close to completing and being blocked by a ride being down. Lots of people did it when the park was open for 24 hours back in May which seems like a cheat to me.
