25. January 2005
Left home at 6.10am for the airport at Frankfurt. Its an 2,5 hour drive and it was fine. Reached the airport at 8:40am and left our car at the parking lot. We made our way to Terminal B to check-in. As supposed we had to open one of the suitcases cause of the pins. There were a lot of security checks that day.
A little bit late cause of the northwind we left and were happy to hear that the estimated flight time was only 9hours and 40 minutes.
At 3:39pm local time we landet at Orlando International Airport. They got some problems getting my fingerprints scanned, but after 5 minutes it was okay. After passing the customs we had to leave the luggage to be transported to the other part of the Terminal and we we went there by monorail. We saw Alice Cooper standing right next to us.
Got our luggage and went to the rentel car station. There we had some problems with the price but got it solved at least.
We got a blue Chevrolet Cavalier, nice car and going on our way. We had some $bills for the toll but at one plaza they wanted coins with exact change. When I wanted to change the money the nice lady behind us gave the 50cent to us and did not want a change.
At around 5pm we reached the Pop Century Resort.
We checked-in immediatly and got room 0370 at the 70 years building. We leave our luggage there and went to the foodcourt to got us something to eat and to by the mugs.
After that we decided to go to EPCOT by bus to get our tickets. We asked at the guest relations if they can give us the voucher for the breakfast as well and it was no problem. (We were told that this was only possible at the Animal Kingdom).
We went on Spaceship Earth and then...after only 5 minutes waiting time we went on MISSION SPACE!! Wow what a ride.....we love it. Test Track was empty too and so we did this ride as well. As it was almost 9pm we had a look at Mouse Gear and went back to the Pop Century Resort.
Got back at 10:30pm means 4:30am at Germany and we were up for 24 hours.
26. January 2005 Magic Kingdom EPCOT
get up a 4am and tried to get a connection to the www with our laptop. It worked fine and we checked the emails. In the meantime we had some coffee and a Muffin and at 7am a breakfast wrap.
Then we go to the Magic Kingdom by bus. We got there at 8:45am and saw the opening show at the entrance. The Haunted Mansion was the next ride we made and then we saw Philharmagic which we fall in love with immediatly.
We had a priority seating at the Crystal Palace at 2pm and in the meantime we visited Toon Town and Mickey´s and Minnies house.
The character buffet was great, and completly unusual for us that the softdrinks and coffee were included in the price.
As we did not want to see the parade we went on to Tomorrowland to do Space Mountain, Stitch Escape and Buzz Spinning Coaster.
At 4pm we got all the main attractions and decided to hopp to EPCOT. On the way to the exit we bought a PalMickey, a nice guy who told us what is on at the park and plays games with us and tell us jokes. Got to EPCOT with the monorail and had a walk around World Showcase. In Mexico we did a boatsride and at China we saw a 360° movie. At Germany we met a Castmember from our hometown and had a talk with him.
Tired and with hurting feets we were back at the hotel at 9pm.

Then we hit on to the Tower of Terror and the Rock´n´Roller Coaster. The waiting times are not that long (ToT 30 minutes, RNRC 10minutes). The RNRC ride is from the layout the same as at the Disneyland Resort Paris, but themed different. We stroll trough the shops, taking some pictures and had then our Fantasmic Dinner at the Hollywood Brown Derby at 3:40pm.
The food was excellent there and we enjoyed the quite athmosphere.
We got time for the Fantasmic and saw the Indiana Jones Stunt Show in the meantime.
Fantasmic is great, only problem was the wind so we got a little wet. After that we went back to the Hotel by bus and got our car to go to the All Star Sports for pintradind. We met Jen and traded a little bit.
At 11pm we are back at the Pop Century and had a little snack at the Foodcourt.

Get up at 7am and got coffee and lunchpack (sandwich, peanutbutter and grapejelly, carottes and goldfish cräcker). First we go to Downtown Disney by bus to get the new featured artist pin for us and friends of us. The weather is not that nice, there is some rain. We have a look a the shops and decided to go on to EPCOT. As there is no direct bus from Downtown Disney to the Parks we went to the Old Key West a Disney Vacation Club Resort, and from there with the next bus to the park.
Here we have a look at the pictures they took two days ago. Then we walk trough Innovention West and did the Journey to Imagination. Then we went on Mission Space and Test Treck for the second time. After that we had a ride on Mealstrom at Norway and went to Germany to get us a priority seating for the Biergarten.
Today we had a priority seating at Akershus and loved the meal.
We went on around the lake and saw the movie at France. At 8pm we are back at the Pop to go with the car to the Publix supermarket to get us some things for breakfast and snacks.
Its fun to shop at a grocery cause the items are different to the ones at Germany. At 10pm we are back at the Pops and tried to get the things fro shopping service. It was a little confused cause the man started several jobs at the same time. At least we got all our bags and went to the room.
29. January Animal Kingdom
Get up at 7am and went to the Contemporary Resort (bus to Magic Kingdom than Monorail) for the Character Breakfast that was included in our tickets. It is great and all the characters visit us. We looked around at the hotel for a while and went to the Animal Kingdom where we reached at 12. First we went on the Kali River Rapids and got soaked. We visit the Maharajah Jungle Trek and did the Kilimanjaro Safar and the Pangani Forest Exploration Train. We saw the Festival of the Lion King at Minnie and Mickeys Camp. We had a snack at the the Cafe La Bamba.
Then we hopped to the Island of Adventure and did Hulk, a great coaster ride. Spiderman is a combination of coaster, darkride and 3D movie....GREAT!! We walked around the park and had a look at the further attractions. The Parks are great the only problem for us is that we are not as familier to the characters as we are at Disney.
We will be back at the Island of Adventure on tuesday to do the other rides.
At 5:30pm we went to the Hard Rock Cafe which is situated between the parks and had a lovely meal there. Afterwards we did a little shopping and were back at the Pops at 8pm.

Finally we made it and bought a lot of T-Shirts and Sweatshirts there.
As we have a priority seating at the Biergarten we had to hurry up and drove to the Yacht Club. This hotel looks similar to the Newport Bay Club.
The food at the Biergarten is great and really authentic. The show is funny too and starts every hour.
After the dinner we went to the Yachtclub to meet up with the others for the Illumination Cruise.
The Cruise is 120$ and the boat will fit up to 12 people. As we were together with 3 other families (meet at the internet) it was only 30$ for each party. Our skipper Ron droves with us along the Broadwall Villas and the Swan and Dolphin to MGM and back again to park underneath a bridge to have a great view on the Show. We lfet the boat at the International Gateway.
There is the extra hours at EPCOT that night and so we went on Mission Space again. Sadly the Univers of Energy had technical problems. Walked back along the Broadwalk to the Yachtclub to drive back to the Pops. Arrive there at around midnight.

It starts to rain a little bit and so went to the Grand Floridian by Monorail. This hotel looks like the Disneyland Hotel at Paris. The connection to and from the Magic Kingdom to the other parks is horrible and takes a really long time. We hardly got at the 50´s Prime Time on time for our dinner at 3pm. Food is great again and afterwards we got nametags engraved with our names. In the waiting time we did Muppets 3D and Sounds Dangerous. After that we drove to a Disneyoutlet and then to Downtown Marketplace to have lunch at the Planet Hollywood. They got the spinach dip still on the menu! Then we went to Disney Quest, a huge arcade on 5 floors. The entry is included in our ticket. The admission fee is 32$ and if you dont like arcades not worth the money. We go on Cyber Space Mountain, and fighting at the Pirates. We have a look at the shops again and went back to the hotel to see what we can buy there and take pictures around the hotel.
There was a long list but we get everything there.
We asked for the luggage service for the next day and then I started to pack our things. The suitecase can be closed easy but are very heavy now.
4. February 2005 our last day at WDW
Get up at 7:30am and got all the things ready. The luggage service picked up our suitecases and we had a nice talk about Disneyland Resort Paris with them.
We go to EPCOT by car an walked through Innovention East. Then we did Univers of Energy and had a look at the Icestation Cool. Time goes by and at 2pm we drove to Port Orleans to have a look there, Frech Quarter first and then Riverside.
French Quarter looks nice but I did not like it that much (perhaps because of the Mardi Grass decoration) Riverside looks so cute, I immidiatly fall in love with this place and want to stay there.
We had burger and sandwich at the foodcourt there. Then we drove to the parking lot of the Magic Kingdom. Tranportation to the park was horrible again. We saw the show at the Hall of President and then Philharmagic again..... the best show for the end of a stay. Went back to the car before the firework to avoid huge crowes. At Pop we had cheesecake and sundae. We hang around till it is time to leave for the airport.
We arrive there at 10pm but the check-in was not opened yet. They opened the counter a 10:30pm and then we had a look inside our suitcase. We thought we could do some shopping in the time till the flight...but all shops were closed. Went trough the security check and waited for the boarding time.
