We are going on our second DCL cruise. Another familiy will be traveling with us and we requested 2nd seating for dinner. We cross referenced the request to be seated together. Will DCL seat us together or will it be just the same time.
We traveled in September of 2001 with another couple and linked our reservations so that we would be seated together. Not only did they seat us together, but we had a private table for 4 (We didn't ask for that, they just gave it to us.). We are doing it again in March of 2003 (Cruise number 4 for DH and me!) with the same couple and hoping we'll get another private table, since we both have little ones now!
As long as your reservations are linked, and DCL knows you want to sit together, you should be!
In Feb 2002 we had 4 cabins, all family. We linked them all under one cabin. On the first nite the tables were seperate. From then on, we had a table for 11! DCL did great! It's to their advantage anyway - they usually have an easier time with service.
