Not sure if this is the right thread since we are not going to the parks!! But we will be in Orlando staying at Disney Spring hotel Dec 29-Jan 1rst. Going to see our local football team University of Louisville (Go, Lamar Jackson, potential Heisman Trophy winner!!!) play in the Citrus Bowl. We will have all day Friday, December 30 and late afternoon & evening New Years Eve. The football game is at 11am on the 31rst. The two things I want to do is visit the new to me Disney Springs and a Monorail Bar Crawl to see the Christmas decorations. So, my question is, since it is New Years Eve weekend, I wonder what day would be best to do the Monorail Bar Crawl. I would love to do it on NYE, but worried it will be too crowded. And how do I find out how late Disney Springs will be open NYE? On the Disney Springs website, it doesn't appear there anything special going on for NYE. Any suggestions for my two days there?

The Disney Springs' Hours can be found on their website:

Thanks, I did see that but don't see anything special geared towards NYE... wonder if we should do the Monorail Bar Crawl on NYE?

There won't be much added to DS for NYE as it's a free venue. The Christmas additions will be ending on that day.

If you don't mind crowded Monorail cars, then the crawl would be okay.

You can also do the Boardwalk for a crawl. bluezoo's lounge has an excellent menu and their signature drinks are very popular.

They usually have a NYE party at Atlantic Dance Hall at Boardwalk but you have to pay extra for that, I'll try and find out if they already announced it, they do it every year
They also have a party at the Contemporary https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/dining/contemporary-resort/new-years-eve-countdown-to-midnight/

At Disney Springs they won't have anything added, unless they add the DisneyQuest NYE party like they had last year, but there are a lot of entertainment all around and a lot of different restaurants, lounges, bars, sort of things. Plus the drone show. It should be fun there without paying any extra entertainment

The monorail wouldn't be needed that much. Take the Disney Springs bus to the Contemporary and enjoy there. Then take the monorail over to the TTC, exit there and take the nice walk to the Polynesian for enjoyment. Then walk to the Grand Floridian and go past the Wedding Pavilion. Nice views all around. After enjoying the Grand Floridian, take the boat to the Magic Kingdom and then walk over to the Contemporary. So just one monorail ride.
