Two Continental Questions

We're leaving for WDW on July 12 and I have two airplane questions.

1. Last August we received pieces of paper with out flight information to present at check-in and this year we didn't receive anything, just a confirmation number, is this normal? We were told it is but I'm paranoid

2. We have a portable DVD player that we were hoping to use on the flight there, and just wanted to double check if Continental has any place to plug it in, or if we would need to use the battery.

Thanks so much!!! :wave2:

I fly Continental all the time. Regarding the DVD player you need to bring your battery to watch it during the flight.

Did you book online with Continental? If you did, your confirmation is all you need, and you can print out your boarding passes 24 hours before your flight via their website. For the most part, paper tickets are gone. If you don't print your own boarding passes, they will just ask your name at the airport and pull-up your information, or you can give them the confirmation # and they can do it. Also, at the airport you can do self check-in with the confirmation number, including your bags.

Have a wonderful trip!

Thanks so much, I feel better about the tickets, at least I know that its normal now ;)

Will be sure to bring out battery with us!
