Looking into a trip next summer with dsister and dnephew along with my crew. The ideal situation would be a two-bedroom however at a 150 pt contract....I'm not quite coming up w/ enough points! Have to go this Dec too! Anyway...for days I'm not even thinking about the possibility of doing two studios!! Silly me! Although I would rather be all together since her DH will not be coming and we would like more together time....I guess this IS a possibility I hadn't considered.

Question is....do many of you do this!!

( 2 years till my add-on....lol!)

yes at OKW they will try to put in the same building - unless you ask them not too....

I have learned my relatives and me - get along longer and better the farther we are part......

My DH prefers down time, and if it means being in a studio instead of 2 bedroom that's fine with him. I lean toward the 2 bedroom. For the Aug. '05 trip that I'm planning we're going with the 2 studios, we have to conserve points because we borrowed heavily this year.

The 2 bedroom can be great but I agree with spiceycat that sometimes a little "break" can be a good thing when everyone is vacationing together. Havng your own space has the advantage of being able to "vent" when necessary. ;)

If the points work out better for 2 studios -- go for it. There's absolutely nothing wrong with that set-up!

This can be great but keep in mind that you won't have the full kitchen or in room washer and dryer. (Maybe that's a good thing!)

I did two studios last year. I took my niece, a friend of hers and a friend of mine tagged along. As much as I would have loved the washer and dryer, it was more important to me to save the points.

We had studios right next to each other.

I would go with the two bedroom perhaps for points and cash. You have a nice big living room to sit in, there really is no place in those studios to sit and relax. Plus you have the large bath area with the jacuzzi. I just can not see two studios over a two bedroom.

Thanks for all of your different thoughts! While the 2-bed would be more points.....We kind of wanted to be "more together" on this trip....my sister will be traveling alone w/her baby and I think the kitchen/living room situation would work out better in this situation. I can see where 2 studios would be better when traveling with maybe someone who you would want a little privacy from....lol! Now I just have to do some figuring and see if I can "swing it" point wise!
Thanks again :)
