That's odd, because I've held the english Eclipse paperback in my hands. Unless it's the international edition.

That's probably the case, b/c the paperback doesn't come out 'til at least August of this year.

I also agree where did the field trip come from? The blood typing scene was better by far.

And the one at lunch when he "demands" that she sit with him. That would have been fun to watch.

Ok one more nitpic for today.

Did anyone else notice that Edwards make-up was never consitant? He was pale, then he was normal, then super pale, back to 5 oclock stuble? And Carlisle was the only one that seemed "deathly" pale the whole time.

I noticed that about the make up. There were times that Bella was paler than Edward. I mean, I understand that Bella is stinking pale (hence all the albino jokes), but Edward was positively peachy in some scenes, bordering on tan.

It's interesting to read what all you guys find different about the movie vs. the book! Like most of you, I loved the books and I really liked the movie, but again, there were parts of it that really bugged me!

Like, BELLA's LULLABYE?!?! Come on, that piece of music that Edward is playing is nothing like a lullabye. Don't get me wrong, I have the soundtrack and I love that music, but... a lullabye, it is NOT. Try humming it...?? Edward can't hum it to her to make her go to sleep. And, it ends up playing a part in the rest of the books, too.

Also another nitpick-- I really think they should have said something about Jasper's ability. It would have taken all of about 1 minute of screen time. It becomes evident in the other books again and again.

I wished the meadow scene was better, too. It was the pivotal scene in the book-- SM's dream that inspired the whole series. I think they should have played it more accurately.

OK, done ranting! Geez, how am I ever going to make it till the DVD release? I've gone too long without a new SM fix!

Yes, I have real issues with the lullaby. That does not say lullaby to me. I do have it on an endless loop when I sleep to drown out the noise of my screaming neighbors, but it still isn't a lullaby. I have a hard time picturing him hum it. And they completely left out the whole explanation from it. Could have easily had that instead of the random montage with the piano in some room that doesn't seem to exist in the house. (Always pictured it on a dais in the living room).

As for Jazz, he is one of my favorite characters and I was beyond pissed that they didn't explain his ability. That becomes a lot more important in Eclipse when he is explaining his history and training them to kill the newbies.

The 2 disc SE will be available everywhere. I pre-ordered it because it might sell out quickly.

I think it'll be available everywhere. Hot Topic stores are doing a prerelease party midnight. I'm sure there will be plenty to go around.

I've tried to work hard at keeping book and movie separate...I feel like I have to do that with a lot of books and movies...but it is hard to not nit pick. my biggest peeve is that to me at least Edward looks ugly through most of the movie...which is weird considering that when Rob Pattinson is himself, he is REALLY hot. But I feel like they made him look so ugly(which I didn't even know was possible) through most of the movie.. I saw it 3 times in theaters and it was the first thing I noticed seeing it the first time and then it bothered me more and more each time I saw it...

I thought he looked REALLY Good when he smiled.... SO melty-gooey good. However, I definitely thought it took talent to make him look REALLY, REALLY Bad during the sparkle scene. Downright ugly. Talent, I say.....

Actually, we're not trying to run into them at all. We all realize that it's closed set and nobody has any grand delusions of getting anywhere near where they did last year. Which is funny because they were really hypocritical about hte whole thing, IMHO all together. A small group went over and over again but they were acting as though NOBODY ELSE should do it and it would be appauling for anybody to even try to find out the shoot locale's. It was really odd. This time around they're swearing it to be the work of the devil if you even attempt to find or be at a shoot.

Anyway, I"m just going for the field trip and cause I like that sorta nonsense :-D I'm actually hoping that by then we may have heard about some of the New Moon locales to visit without the shooting going on. I'd be happy just to have my picture taken. I'm a picture-hunter. A photo-cougar (pronounced with a French accent)

yeah and I know borders and Blockbuster will be doing preorders too...speaking of preorders........man Im about to fall out of my chair right now.....ok when they started taking preorders for BD, I of course got my name in really quick...because I was going to be in LV when they were doing the release party, I also put in an order for the calendar...I paid $20 for that calendar and I just saw on amazon somone selling the exact calendar for $154 that makes me so mad...some jerkoff who doesnt really want the stupid thing has to buy it so someone else who really wants it doesnt get a copy because the idiot has just bought the last one and now hes going to sell it for $154...somebody call the pack or the cullens...I have a job for them to do

Sorry, I forgot to answer the question: We're going to the Twilight locales, by the way. So basically all the places that are in my TR already PLUS the baseball field, some of the areas that they sat and talked near the Columbia River.. Bridge of the Gods (The police car crosses over it to introduce Charlie), The Carver Cafe, the inside of the other high school (cafeteria scenes, etc), the Field trip scene (greenhouse) and some of the other "off the beaten path stuff). I'm excited! I love that sorta stuff.

The group is going on to Forks after this leg of their tour. I have to work so I can't go I wish I could though.
